I have 2 green o matics growing in 7L rootmaker pots, using sunshine advance mix #4 and plan on using the General Organics line. I could really use some advice on when to start feeding/ what strength and how often. this my second grow ever and I burned my first attempt pretty bad. they popped through the soil 6 days ago (ill post pics in the morning). I am vegging them under a 6 bulb 4 foot T5, when they show sex I.m going to move them under a 400 watt hps. Planned on doing 18/6 the entire grow.

well yeah if the promix is pre-feed you shouldn't need nutes before at least week 2 3, if it's empty of everything you can start from seed very very low doses of nutes and slowly increase as the plant grow, most important is to watch your plants everyday and see what they ask you for, wait for the green to get a little lighter to increase the feeding doses :)

Good luck man

Welcome brother KYGrow

Remember to keep your eyes on the Ph when feeding

Will you be feeding by hand?

yes I will be feeding by hand, the gen organics says it isn't necessary to ph the mix, I was under the impression I only needed to do that with the flora series or chem fertilizers.

so here are some pictures of everything, and btw something I forgot to mention, I germinated them in Jiffy Pellets and then transplanted them into the containers they are going to stay in for the entire grow as I've heard transplanting is bad for autro's. When I transplanted I used a mixture of dyna gro's npk and protekt (mixed at 25% label) juist to try and give them a solid start. The soil mix already had mycorrhizae added but Plant success sent me a bunch of freebies so I added Mike O' Rizey to the mix. I also have an Auto Sweet Mango going Freebie with my order from attitude.

And if you want to see what a plant looks like when a newb burns the shit out of it here ya go. This is this plants 6th week of flower I have no clue about it's genetics because it came out of a bag of brick weed garbage, here in the states we have to resort to smoking pressed bullshit that the extremely violent and horrible mexican cartels smuggle in (this is what prohibition gets you) but don't get me started on that mess. Anyways I have no idea how long its flower cycle is, I'm going to get a handheld scope and just watch the trichs. I flushed the hell out of it whith some FloraKleen I'm just hoping it doesn't die.

Don´t beat yourself up. I still see a plant with buds i would like to smoke.

Ph feed her nice clear water and see where that takes ya.

If you do not like her i can send you my address and i take her from you heheh :P

Get rid of her?!?!? This my first plant ever, if I could make love to her I probably would.

dont feed them anything for the first 2 weeks, then start with a quarter strength and then half strength then full strength. The plants will tell you if you need more or less.

If you have a ppm or ec meter that would be the best way. You can then ensure you know exactly how much you are feeding them. You can purchase one on ebay for about 12 bucks. PPM or EC meter. Oh if you don't have a PH pen get one as well! If you are in sunshine mix you will want the ph to be 5.7

so its been about 4 days since I watered the auto's I was thinking of watering them tom night but mixing in some of the bio root, it has an NPK of 1.1.1. the label recommends 5ml per gallon, so I'm thinking of 2.5. Do you guys think I should throw anything else in (I have the entire general organics line) or should I just use water for a bit longer? the soiless mix has no nutes at all.
