Very first grow....feminised GH Kalashnikova with Powder feeding in hydro

Hello everybody,

this is my first grown report and my first grown session....

so be indulgent please, i never do that before....

Let's have a look about my gear:

mylar box 900x500x1600mm

400W MH/HPS with cool tube.

home made hydro system include mixing pump, air pump, water heat.

air intake 100m3/h.

air out with carbon filter 300m3/h.

cool tube 300m3/h.

T° controller with 2 speed dimmer, 1 for the cool tube and 1 for intra/extra linked together.

3 liters airpots.

root riot starting cube.

powder feeding mostly indica.

auto controlled humidifier.

ec and ph tester.

starting with 4 kalashnikova from green house seeds...

now the pics...

seeds in germination:

all seeds popped in 2 or 3 days then put them under 400w MH in my mini green house..

babies in veg:

hydro veg +5

hydro veg +9

this one died, she was the most beautiful...

bloom day 00

bloom +5 (today)

Settings:

for the germination phase:

just tap water ph 5.5, EC 1.1 in spray over the root riot, once a day (before night).

air temp 26-29°C.

hygro 80-90% RH.

for the veg phase:

ph 5.5~5.8

EC 1.8 (with tap water EC 1.1) at the start then went to 1.3 before bloom with only powder feeding (addition of 12 liters of tap water PH 5.5 EC 1.1 every 5 days).

water temp 22~24°C

air temp 25-26°C the day and 19-17°C the night.

hygro 60-70% RH.

for the bloom phase:

ph 5.5~5.8

EC 1.72 (with tap water rectified to EC 0.7)

water temp 22~24°C

air temp 25-26°C the day and 19-17°C the night.

hygro 55-60% RH.

these settings will change along the time....

I lost a babie because between the 2nd and the 3rd week of veg, PH went to 3.5..i saw it 2 or 3 three days later....

this one never heal.....god bless her....

i wil try to put some pics and comments at least once a week, and hope to have your feedback to be sure not to bullshit...

hey man thanks for making a journal for us i hope we will see some nice budding around here We've seen some very nie things on kalash lately so you got presure on your shoulders haha ;)

i will try to do my best, thank you for support.....i've seen ....maybe too later...that kalash wasn't for rookies....

the pressure is not for being the best but to keep them safe and healthy till the end....

haha it's ok if you keep close eye on the girls nothing will happen careful on nutes always watch what she asks for and give it to her

and for after...

On monday i gave her 20l of tap water the tank was nearly empty....

i think on friday i will flush them with solution EC 1.3 for 5 days and then new water EC 1.8....

all seem to be fine...some yellow spots on some leaves but nothing serious..EC should be a little high...

Thanks for the lil pics girls looks good, i see the little yellowing but nothing serious indeed. You should upload your pictures on our server no? i don't know how your country is but i wouldn't feel safe having public files on imgshack ^^

i'm not worry, my cat's looking after my babies..

This a a very good advice when growing in countries that are not as tollerant, like the Netherlands for instance! That way the foto's aren't public and I know they are in a place where they are hard to find on a domain that's not hosted here!

What is the law in NL. Can you grow leagally under light? I had been told you can legally grow 3 , but must be outdoor without nutrients?

In NL you can't grow any under a light, so you can grow outside 5 not that it's legal but the coppers won't bother to go after you for 5 plants on your balkony. They don't come after you if you have 5 under a light when they know you have them, till they find an added reason to do come after you and then you get screwed! Growing Marijhuana is illegal in the Netherlands!!!

and now just before their second flush...bloom +30..today i stop the second flush and put some redbull on water for 10 days.....the first kalash is 80cms height and the others ~55cm height. the little ones became very tights and smelly...

Hey man thanks for the news!! And looks like those ladies are now making some very nice roundish bush, looking good!!

what is the redbull for in the water? first time i see using it i think ^^

hello,

today i've stopped the second flush, so, new water EC 1.7 (with ganja's redbull: PF ) and PH 5.7....

some leaves seems to have been eaten...but no bugs on the microscope so...

one of the kalash is nearly the double height of others, but buds are less developped than the little ones, maybe HPS power is not equal everywhere...

I think to buy sugar babe or similary for the end of bloom, is anybody use it ?

hello, here are new pics, they've been taken the 10th and 12th so at bloom +40 and +42.Plants are in their last flush which will stop monday. Since one week, i put some Sugar babe in the water....just for try...i'm sure it could not be bad...thanks for reading...a+
