hey all 51yrs young shades_smile.gif planted my 1st seed at 13yrs old and have never looked back have grown in just about every medium there is in-door and out. I started growing in-door hydro back in the late 70's and wow how far have we come very, very cool. I now grow for genuine medical reasons, I had a bike accident in the late 80's and crushed T8, went through a heap of operations in the end I had T7,T8 & T9 fused and instead of the 100mg of oxycontaint the doctors want me to take a-day I prefer 5grams of White Rhino at the momment with my old friend ROOR wink_smile.gif I have found and fallen in love with GHS's medical grade strains, thanks GHS you have made my life a better one.

I don't join these sorts of sites normaley i like living the stelth life shades_smile.gif but you got me with the Indian trip spent 5yrs living a bit further up the Mt than you guys went but bought back some pretty cool flash backs. Keep up the great seed genetics and good luck in November .................Peace shades_smile.gif

Hey dfwi! Nice introduction of yourself..

Let me say that here we are all friends, trying to learn with each other and also share what we know, answering and putting questions, also wen talking about something about our crops we share pics and "secrets", and no one have problems with that.No cops here teeth_smile.gif

Thanks for the warm welcome guys look forward to learning some new stuff from you younger folk and hope i can pass on some of my old tricks and tips I've picked up over the years.

Here's a little snap shot of one of my flower rooms the smaller plant on the right and at the back are Rhino x 3 pulling this week have posted better pic of rhino in plant of the mth .

The taller stuff is my own little creation I call Couch Lock blend of G13,Skunk 1 and White Russian it's only it's 3rd gen so needs a few more grows to stabalise it's self up. Getting a bit of stretch on the upper buds i need to sort out. Anyway Couch Lock is about another week or 2 away

Purpose of Strain Hunters

Our planet is home to millions of species of animal and plants with their own habitat, and each plays a unique role in the perfect design of nature. Unfortunately many species of plants and animals are victim of uncontrolled human development. The sole intent of Strain Hunters is to identify, locate and retrieve cannabis landraces that have not yet been studied, in order to give scientists and doctors the possibility to further enhance knowledge of the cannabis plant in the medicinal field.


Preservation of Landraces

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.

Cannabis should not be illegal


One of the goals of the United Nations, published years ago in official reports, was to wipe out the cannabis plant from the face of the earth by the year 2010. In reality this is far from being achieved, because man keeps using the cannabis plant for religious, medicinal and recreational purposes no matter what the law says. Most cultures cannot comprehend how a plant can be made illegal. In most people’s perception, plants and animals stand above a status of legality or illegality, they just exist in a higher design of nature that goes beyond human laws and regulations.

Nevertheless most governments of cannabis- producing countries are implementing drastic measures to destroy crops. Dangerous chemicals are sprayed over fields and over the farmers themselves in most of the third world countries, and the poorest people of the planet are the ones paying the highest price for cultivating a plant that does not kill. But in the economy of scale, where demand dictates supply, the poorest people of the planet have no choice but to cultivate cannabis as a cash crop to feed their children and send them to school. Communities that are isolated in remote areas in the poorest regions of the planet are often the keepers of very special landraces.
