rooting the stem

2 posts in this topic

I have a seedling that stretched it`s stem because it didn`t have enough light at start. The stem is like 4 inches and it can`t keep itself up. Someone told me to put rooting gel on the stem and burry the stem with new dirt so it can grow roots. Does this work at all$ has anyone tried it$ i really would like to save this seedling. Is the cloning gel the best advise$ i can`t make question marks so its $

no need to pur rooting gel, i guess it will not hurt, just make sure it doesn't rot or anything like this on the stem. But if you burry it like your friend told you the plant will grow new roots from that stem normally yes

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
