£unclefreshy£ Posted May 5, 2013 Share Posted May 5, 2013 Before growers got into hydro etc etc,all the feeding was done by hand,IM SURE THIS SKILL HAS BEEN FORGOTTEN,is there any info out there on hand balling,watering plants by hand,ive tried most systems and had a leak or 2 as allways.and whats the strength in food cf ph.ex at the moment i have8 large whxxe wxxxxw in coco im useing cxxxa coco,and mixing the food as for hydro,i probbably havent explained as good as i should.or as any STAFF members got any good books i can borrow or buy. gonzosghost Posted May 28, 2013 Share Posted May 28, 2013 Hey man I buy buckets and place each plant pot in their own one, I then hand water from a big reservoir right next to them until it runs out the bottom. It ensures you get a 5-20% runoff without making a mess of the floor Once water stops running out of the bottom, just place pot back into the drip tray 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
