I think there spangum moss but im not sure.should I just use the cloning gel and water or shoulsd I use a light solution and if so @ what EC/PPM level? Thanks everyone, its been a while since I cloned. I also use a heat pad but I cant remember what the temp needs to be inside the dome. Help would be much appreciated.

hi man, usually thos little cubes are a little presoakd etc. btu if they are not kept in a zipper bag or original package they loose humidity, but yes you should rehydrate them, i use to let them soak for 24 in water at ambiant temperature. And before puting the seeds inside you press them to get the biggest of the water out of the cube but not everything so it stays a very littl moist when you press, it should not flow on your finger if you press but you should see a little water trying to go through.

and after you have to keep them a little moist get them wet once a day or more or less it depends your environment :)

Good luck man i love those plugs ;)

Your awesome Dust! Thanks for the help man. It's been so long since I've cloned I'm a little rusty Dusty, no pun intended.ninstarted some seed a few weeks back and out of 20 plants I ended up with only 6 females. Talk about shit luck. I planted 2 outside so there not flowering yet so I took some clippings. I'm praying there gonna be female. Statistically they will most likely be female. Soon as they root I'll sacrifice one to check the sex. Only time will tell.

oh yeah, heat pad temp? What temp should I keep it inside the dome? So far there doing nicely. Its been 3 days and ive just misted them once a day. Theyve been under 24 hours of low level light. I think I saw a couple of pistals on the mother plant this morning when I went and checked on it. Its still a little early to start flowering here in florida but perhaps but its getting to be about that time. Ive not grown a lot outside so we'll see. If she is flowering i took those clippings just in the nick of time. I just thought about something too,,,,,,,,,,,, I wont have to sacrifice one of my clones to sex them........

the temp in the dome must be around 24 25° but if the cubes are directly in contact with the pad maybe a little lower to not overheat the roots.

good luck!

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
