Hi everyone, I live in Scotland and have a tent up in my attic with my grown in. My temperature is dropping to much when my light goes off, has anyone any tips on what I could do to solve this.

hi mac, well the only solution is a little heater ^^ you can find some very small oes pretty much everywhere, like the ones you can use in cars etc. it should do the work for a tent i think.

What temp do you have at night?

Depends on the weather outside really, on a cold day I can see it drop right down to 17 when the lights are off. I have no problems when the light is on, just worried about the big drop when its goes off..

Hey man, im from Scotland also and I just use a tube heater in the flowering room (40w) as it has no lights on it, it wont interrupt the process :) I use a 2kw classic asda heater for the veg room, it has an orange light on it and a thermostat for when it gets cold, although I've came to realise they shouldn't really be receiving lights either :) It maintains a constant temp all night :)

I was supposed to be in Spain this summer at my folks place and now it's been cancelled due to growing restrictions. This has made my outdoor journal very interesting :) Im going for a quick flower in Scottish weather :) Wish you luck as I need it myself :)

yes but make sure it is clean and don't put it near anything ^^ some really old elctric radiator might not be good and emit some little things in the air, but fr recent ones i think it's ok

As my new grow room is not so big I have just baught myself a 50watt ceramic heat emitter the ones people use for reptile vivariums and there are brilliant as they don't emit any light I have had mine setup in my little grow room with all my fans on half speed at night and this heater keeps my nighttime temp in between 22-24c bang on for me you should try them as you can pick up from eBay for as little as £8
