I cropped a couple of super lemon haze last night and hung them in an empty cupboard and I've came home tonight from work and had a look at them and the smell is basically disgusting smells like dog crap or something! not very nice at all! one of the colas had the smallest amount of bud rot starting to form but I chopped it out last night so I am unsure if this has something to do with it...any ideas on what it could be? thanks

hello andy, well if your cupboard is a little too humid maybe or not enough airflow, it can smell a little terible at the beginning with the leaves etc, but usually if you dry it corectly it losts the bad smell and goes back to nice flower smell with curing, just make sure you have enough air going through, not too much neither or it dries too fast ;)

Good luck

right esp. now with hot temps air flow is important plus try to find a place that is not warm or muddy , but whatever you use make sure there is a steady air flow around. If you cannot find a place like that us a large card box and put some holes in it and blow a fan through; but best is airflow around but not directly at a plant. I use the grow rom when it is not lights on and place it near the scrubber for the first days to get rd of that strong smell. I notice my buddies plants often smell really disgusting when freshly cit but he loves Skunk and I hate that smell, so maybe the Skunk inside the Lemon Skunk is responsible for that. I can smell where he walked when he comes to my place ..lol.. I hide his buds in paper bags till they are dry since even one big bud it stinks up my whole living era if left uncovered..LOL
