Hey Guys.

Attached is a BW seedling and she is sick. I actually forgot about this lady ( I hope ) while taking care of my mother plants. I can see that she is needing some nutes but what I would like to do is 1st hear what you guys think the problem is.

I basically wanna build up my knowledge on deficiancies. I read a lot of books and saw countless pics but still I can never get the problem solved myself.

She is up for a flush tomorrow. Then on Sunday I'll start up with a small dose of nutes.

Its a mix of:

50% Organic Compost

50% Perlite (5dm)

That's its? If so it's probably a combination of things, looking like K and N.

How do you plan on providing the nutes to the plant?

That's it bro. I know its primitive but it has worked very well for my seedling for years.

There is definitly a N shortage. The yellowing from the inside outwards I saw on a site through google but can't remember the name. Will find it again.

The main prob is that brown leafs edges. Any advice???

Nutes will be added by watering. I am currently using a chemical plant food that is 10g to 10 Liters. I used it before and it is a blessing. It can also be sprinkled around the plant and watered in

Potash(K). And that plant is no longer a seedling haha!

Looks ready to veg for sure.

You need to start feeding that plant now!

And keep in mind that feeding the plant with synthetic nutrients pretty much kills the microbial life off in the soil, so the plant becomes dependent on what your feeding it.

So you gotta ease it into feeding and keep a close eye once your start. I don't feed so I can't say how to do so, but can say that you can't get by with just compost delivering nutes!

Also I harvested a Blue Widow in March from Dinafem! I did a review on it in the strain hunters strain database here, so check that out!

It's absolutely AMAZING how much my Blue Widow smelled like Blueberries! It smelled like Blueberry perfume all the way thru! From flowering to burning!

And it tasted as AMAZING as it smelled! Will DEF. grow it again but the bunches :) It's worth a pheno hunt IMO!

But it need A LOT of N man! Must be a blueberry thing because I'm growing a Blueberry headband and it's growing almost identical to the way my Blue Widow did.

My soil can't give it N as fast as it needs!

yeah with those nice big leaves already if you have never fed her it is probably a deficiency. start slowly on her with the nutes and let's hope she will be fine on new growth :)

True IG. I have a tendancy to view plants as seedlings until they reach a certain height. Its a bad habit , I know.<p>

Yes you are right about that dude. This is my little Frankenstein plant. I'm growing her with Chem's as a experiment to compare against the Organically grown plants. I always have 1 plant each year that gets this treatment. Can't wait for the BW now that you pointed out how great she smells and tastes. This seed comes from Seedman, the same as my WW seeds. I hear you on the feeding of this one. I will up the N feeding on the plant. Thanx for that tip. Did your plant have a color pheno ???@ Dust, thanx for the well wishing. I know this lady will pull through her little time of need.

No color in the pheno that I had. But insanely resinous and with a VERY strong blueberry aroma.

Also didn't know Seedsman had a Blue Widow now. It bet it's nice! I've grown out 4 Seedsman WW and loved all 4!

VERY strong stuff!

Got 2 more beans of it that I'll be saving to play with :)

Ps. I say plants are seedlings for 10-14 days haha but everyone had their own things lol, so no worries!

And I was hoping for a Blue/ Purple pheno. Oh well, at least the color doesn't make the bud. I have 1 x BW and 1 x WW seed left that'll go into storage for my Private Seedbank. Then it'll sit there until my tents arive ( still gotta order them ) so that I can breed more.

And here she is again.

Doesn't she look way better than last time ???

I flushed her soil and started with a light soil feed. ( Chemical ). IG I know what your gonna say. LoL

I planning on going on with the chems until transplanting in October. From there on I will go over to the organics.

haha I was like what am I gonna say?? Then I had to read it again and saw your parenthesis haha!

But I don't knock you for growing how you do man! Chemical or organic, it's all a matter of preference!

Just because I think organic is better doesn't mean it is :D That's just my opinion and preference :D

If I had access to the powder feed I would damn sure try it!

But it does look 100p better than that last update :D
