I want to grow a female plant around 3 to 4 ft. So does that mean I need a 3 gallon pot? Also, how long do I leave my plant in vegetation state? Do I grow it to the desired height then switch it to flowering phase? I want to get a good yield off a 3 ft plant. Can anyone help me on this?

Yes that you need a 3-5 gallon pot, and you should veg for 4-6 wks.

Typically ppl flower when the plant is about 1/3 to half the size you want it to be.

Me personally, I train the plant from very early on, so they never reach 3ft tall.

If you want a good yield in soil, you need a good soil. You can get away in a not so good soil if you feed with chemical nutes..

You can't get away with a not so good soil doing organics tho.

hi man, all like IG ^^ and for the height it also depend on the strain mostly, if you take a good hybrid it will be like IG said, for pure indicas stretch is not the same at all so you will need a little more veg :)
