Hi SS, Thanks for helping out. I really appreciate you guys taking the time to post. It is a 8-9week flower time it says. And she has been on 12/12 for only 36 days. I would love to try and reveg it but I have absolutely no idea how to make that happen. I will have a look around later today to see what I can find on the subject. Thanks again for your input, cant thank you guys enough. Cheers Ozi

Hello ozi, like suko i don't think your meter was playing on you, it was maybe not at 8 but it was for sure out at sometime to cause def like this. Like Mr green said i would let her run the few week(s) she has left and harvest her :) Like suko said she does look almost ready so i dn't know if the 2 weeks will be necessary and you will not have the best yeild you could have had on that lady to to that little ph problem, but if you keep it straight till the end she should still make you happy :)

Have a good end of grow man good luck

Yates uplift is the best for veg and it naturally has a low P.H and is cheap . Plus every supermarket in oz sells it.

I did a grow of verse canna terra and i had 25% more biomass plus it was such a nicer looking plant . I would invest

in a small microscope ( 20 bucks ebay) and check out your tricrome decomposition. I always tend to harvest when the

bud growth slows and the tricromes are nice and amber .

Hi guys, Day 40 of the flower period, We have had perfectly sunny days around the 23C-28C all week so she has been spending the days outside basking in the sun. My 30X and 60X loupe will be here early next week so I can keep a look out for any changes in the trychs and I bought myself a new PH meter during the week, so I did a little test with before and after PH test using worm juice. I set the PH to 6 added worm juice 50mls per litre and tested again and the ph was 8.2!! But she is still filling up nicely and the buds are very solid when squeezed, so she seems to be recovering. Thanks to you all for your input it is greatly appreciated!! Here are a few pics taken only minutes ago. Thanks again guys, Couldn't do it without you!! When do you guys end it? when the trychs are cloudy or wait for some amber to show? Cheers Ozi

Ahoya Ozi

Man , that WW is looking real good. I did a WW last season and wasn't to impressed. But I think I know what went wrong there and will attempt another run a bit later in the season. a PH of 8.2 is quite high yeah.

I always harvest when the trichs is a 30% amber. I have harvested when the trichs were all Milky as well. I guess it all depends on your personal prefrence. Kinda enjoyed both harvest styles.

Hi guys, Sorry for late reply been very busy. I received my loupe last week and had a close look at her and the trychs were definitely cloudy with at least 20% being amber so she was cut down but I left a few of the lower popcorn buds on to try and regenerate her. Obviously I have never done this before as this is the very first plant I have grown so some advice would be great!! I have just trimmed up some of the plant and am quite happy with the results so far. The buds are very solid and smell good enough to eat! Will have a cheeky little taste tonight then I will not try it again for another few weeks while it cures properly. Hope you enjoy the pics. Cheers Ozi

altho i think youve chopped a bit too much off it.. but it might still work..

looks like fantastic smoke so might be worth giving it a try

Hey man! Yeh I wasn't too sure about reveging her but I looked at some pics and read flowers to the peoples thread on it and thought id try anyway. She is on 24hrs under a 130 CFL. No big deal if it doesn't come to fruition as I have a few more seeds of this one. Have already started a Great White Shark and a Kerala X Skunk in the cabinet and they should have a good head start before going outdoors in the summer. Cant wait to try and grow a couple of trees!! Take care mate. Ozi

Congrats on the blessing and good luck with the reveg!

If you have been feeding the plant, right now is a good time for a little N :D

If you've been growing organic the whole time, the plant should pull the N itself.

I've yet to reveg as I havn't had the space, but will def. do so when given the chance!

Anxious to see your outcome!

Bless

dude dont re veg the stump as you will only get a smaller yield and more chances of it going to seed.

If you need to lower your ph mag sulphate is a great way to go about it just give it a big flush of

a solution of one teaspoon per four liters. Also awesome harvest dude next time put some molasses

in the feed in the last 3 weeks of flower you will be amazed by the increase in yield

Does that apply to plants that strated flowering or only plants that flowered already. Reason for asking, I have a Blue Widow that I put outdoors and she started flowering. I left her for 2 weeks but saw she was forming buds quick and decided to put her indoor again on a 20/4 light cycle. It worked like a charm and now I'm wondering. Will that affect the end product ???

Hi Ozi, nice results on the first grow man :) The quality looks excellent and nice work not chopping her too early like a lot of anxious first timers do, including myself my first grow :P Enjoy your harvest, it always tastes sweeter when you know you grew it! Good luck with your 2 new ladies!

Peace

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
