Ahoy

Sadly I will not be able to grow all the strains I wanted to due to a shit batch of seeds. Was pretty pissed when I opened the package and saw this immature and small seeds. But I thought it should germ.

ROFL - stupid Pete !!! 0/25 germed

So now I am back to only 3 strains. Maybe its better this way ??? NO, I'd ont think so

Strain 1 # Blue Widow

Breeder # Seedsman

Strain 2 # Querkell

Breeder # Unknown

Strain 3 # Royal Blue Thai

Breeder # J-Thang (SA Breeder)

We are still getting massive amounts of rain for Spring and snow has fallen. Which is very weird for this time of the year.

Pics will follow from the 15th of October when they go outdoor to start their journey.

In 2 weeks time I will start placing my ladies outside. Here is a pic of my Blue Widow Lady ( F1 Tester ). I have chosen a few branches that I am gonna work with in the season. Some more tying down and trimming will be in order as she goes on. Once she enters that 25L pot I pressume she will just EXPLODE.

I upped her feeding shecudle and she is looking so much better. At one point all the new grow tips had a blue-ish kinda color to them but theat quickly went away. She looks like such a strong plant and I can't wait to see her in full flower.

Other ladies updates will follow as soon as the cuttings root and they go outdoor as well

Kollossus is a regular strain bred by Sannies - a very highly regarded breeder and I think he supplies the Greenhouse Coffeshop with good weed some times and had his breedings used for some of the strain hunters seeds recently - only hear say - I came across his shop from an email I received today from a new medical weed supplier, who offers strains with high CBD from a chosen few seedbanks only and offers a selection of strains with medical potential from nirvana, sensie seeds, Sannies /Shantibaba&Mr NIce aka CBD Crew and DNA genetics - Here arepics from Kollosus Herijuan and Killing Fields - all from Sannies Shop..

no prob..one day will come sooner than you think. maybe try some root riot cubes and a propagator next time - might give ya a better rate but maybe the seeds you got were not really ready to root properly. Happens all the time and only with those expensive High grade beans, never with bag seeds..lol

Thanx Pi2

Yeah I put them out Oct, then they will show sex and from there on the light steadily increases to the all loved 18/6 sunlight cycle.

I veg them indoor for a few months where I kinda get the young stage over with and find pronising branches to work with. And when time is right, I drop them outside and let the fun start

Greenhouse is a BIG dream of mine one day. Just have to finalize a move that's gonna take a few months still and then can I only think about building 1. But my oh my, how I'm gonna enjoy having one. So no dude, no greenhouse, but here in South-Africa our spring starts September.

Plant # 2: Querkell

She does look weird, I know, but its because of an accident. After the cutting rooted she never really got color again and remained this pale greenish yellow. I couldn't et it over my heart to chuck her so I placed her outdoors in hope that something might happen. And that something did happen, in terms of a snail that slithered over the plant and feasted while doing so. After that happened I lost all hope of her recovering and with that mind set I just left her there to "be".

To my surprise, she started growing again , slowly , and started picking up in color too. So obviously I jump at it and started pampering her. Not too much but enough to keep her happy. She is still growing quite slow and the leafs are really small but I'm sure that as soon as she starts to grow, then she will explode.

She is growing outdoors but I bring her indoors at night to keep the light cycle at 20/4 until I see that promising growth.

And so it finally starts. The BW went into her final pot yesterday and she hasn't shown signs of wilting so I guess I did a good repot. The growth has slowed a bit but I think its due to the fact that she is standing outside and the amount of sunlight a day is only at 12h:35m. I will start bringing her indoors at night until the sunlight hours has inproved.

At how many hours sun a day is it cool to start outdoor growing ???

As you can see from the pic, I did some tying down already. I also trimmed some small branches away so that I can focus on certain branches a bit more. I don't want a BUSHY lady, so I'm aiming for a couple of good and strong branches and then I'll work with them.

At this point all my plants are receiving 11 hours of direct sunlight and I can see that they really enjoy it. I used to live in a complex where (on a good day) my plants only received 4.5h of direct sun and they were showing that they didn't like it.

Ahoya

Here is a pic of the Querkell. She is quite a slow grower but I guess the change of season still has hold on her. Unfortunately I don't have extra space indoors to give her longer hours. So I hope she starts to re-veg real soon.

The Querkell seems like a very "thin" plant. Compared to the other plants, her stems are thinner more fragile almost. The good part is that she is quite flexible. I got hold of some scrog screen yesterday. One of my plants will get the screen. I was thinking of making it in a ball form and pulling it over the plant and scrog a bush (scrush LoL) but if I don't go that route then I wanna lay the screen over the plant to get the branches more spread out so that I can choose my branches that I wanna work with and the rest will become cuttings.

Soooooooo,.........things has changed a bit.

I am proud to announce my 1st ever GHS grow. I got hold of some Arjan Haze #1 and its currently in soil am I'm waiting for it to pop up.

To add to that, I was given some testers to do. They are Kinky Cheese and Miss Universe.

So my grow op has gotten bigger than expected. The plants ( kinky cheese and haze ) will be in 11L pots and grown as if autoflowers. I will veg for 4 weeks and then force flower. I will of course be taking cuttings from the haze to flower out end of season.

Pics will foloow when they pop.

Soooo, the Blue Widow underwent a heavy transformation. She was extremely bushy and I thought that a trim will be a good idea. I was also scared that pests might make their way in with LOTS of camo.

I think it was a good choice that I made. I accidentally broke 1 branch but the plant is still growing nice. So I'm not even gonna bother with it. Its a bit of High Stress Training , but the branch will not be lost.
