Pistils already browning up 3-4 weeks into floweing stage?

Hello guys. im just wondering if anyone can give me a better understanding to as my on both my female plants the bottom an middle pistils of my plants are browning up already? The rest of my plants are looking fine, nice green, big healthy leaves too. I read that it could be due to heat ( ive got them in a small greenhouse I made) ive recently put them outside to recive direct sun and breeze. The other reason for the pistils turning brown so early could be due to pollunation? I did discover 1 plant I had to be a male. It showed its true sex 4 days ago. I discovered the green bannanas, but im 100% sure I pulled it out in time before the pollen sacks split. Any insight woyld be great. Ive recently tried my first LTS tie down on both my girls too, so fingers crossed all gos well!

hi man! Yes it can indeed be dues to polination in some cases, and if you are not sure for your male then maybe it is the reason, but it is also part of the plant cycle to brown up a little during flowering, now i'm no expert when it comes to outdoor, and it's long lifetime, but i know in indoor in middle of the flowering more or less pistil will start to brown up, the sign for me of a harvest beeing close, is when the new white pistils stop shooting on tops of the buds, when this happens then i start a good flush and no the end is a few weeks ahead

So i don't know, i would not worry too much, show us pics just incase

Have the plants got wet as the rain can cause the pistels to brown, usually the top part, the bottom closest to the bud stays whiter.

Yep, I am surprised to find some browning of pistils going on with the Caboose + one of the WhiteWidows. after a litte more tan 1 month in flower. BUT I don't mind, The Powderfeeding / GHS growing techniques and the good genetics often rspeed up the plant's life cycle and from the first browning to the final ripeness it takes another 3 weeks or longer most of the time. It is just a sign that the buds are starting to produce THC and slowly getting more more potent.

Ive been checking up on my girls over the last two days that i put them out of the green house to completely outside. I may have thought my green house was getting too hot, but as far as i can tell placing them outside hasnt made much of a difference. The pistils on my tops are white with a few getting to that amber stage, as are the lowest and in the middle of the plants. I would say maybe around 20 percent of what pistils are out are starting to turn or are already brown. Maybe genetics, them for both plants to do so, so early into flower somethings not right. I water 1-2 times a week, depending on how dry my soil is. The rest of the plants are looking fine. A nice dark green and good size fan leaves. I also use 5ml to every litre of budrite part A and part B when watering. Anyone have the same troubles with their pistils? Also when pistils do turn brown and curl up will new pistils grow back? Will i still see my girls produce buds as expected? Thanks guys.

Hi man there are other factors that can make the pistils brown.

For example it could be an excess of P or a problem with molds or fungi, especially if these attack the root system.

And I´m sure that there will be another factors if you check for info.

The reason why the pistils go brown is the oxidation, it could be because a natural process of maturation or other issues.

thanks for the replies everyone. my pre flower stage is almost ending with one girl and she's starting to form heads! The other girl is growing a little slower and smells beautiful. they are both unknown strains that I got from bag seed. one smells almost like a mint/ peppercorn and the other is almost like a grape/bubble gum.

here are some updated pics guys also check out my forum post I put up aswell there are more pics and info there too and as you can see there isn't much of a bud site forming at the nodes, only pistils that are turning brown and have, what I can tell stop producing?

Pre-ripe. Just wait till the pistils are completely bron and smell ripe then cut down.Won't be much bud after all cause they stop fattening up one th cycle is that far just ripening out what is already there. Happened to my Caboose outdoors this season, too. Sorry to say that but this was what it looks like to me. I may be wrong of course, Just let it ripen and we see..

Well for me this looks either like a Root Problem or a light sycle Problem.

Did the lighthouers change since u did brig them outside ?

most/ all pistils have browned up and from what I can tell have stopped in production all together. they are both grown completely outdoors besides a month or two in a make shift greenhouse I made, however have been out in the open sun completely. my pots are 12 Litre pots so I would have thought that there is plenty of room for root space and production. There are calyx productions at each node but there isn't all that may to each section and it seems as if they arnt swelling too much either. I will upload a full pic of each girl, they are otherwise very healthy minus the browning pistils and low calyx production.
