Shit that was crazy stuff. Gosh have not seen any for years and years, since the late 70's. man would I like to get my hands of some seeds of that strain. It lived up to its name alright.

I heard that NZ and Australian strains are strong because there is such a thin ozone layer here which gives u sunburn very fast. So the plants produce more resin to protect themselves from the UV rays.

shades_smile.gifYes some great memories of Mullabimbi Madness, Kog's big sativa's it's rummored he still grows and lets not forget the famous Noosa Heads even shaw that 1 on a coffee shop menu in Amsterdam in the 80's. Nimbin I was there 3 weeks ago and pot was everywhere as always. Kids trying to sell shit bush weed for top $$$. If you ask around and spend a bit of time their you can still come across some old seeds from some of the older crew. Most will just call them big sativa's and this 1 taste's like that, this 1 tastes like this and so on. There are many Hippie style communes around Australia many dating back to the 60's so there are many great strains about. You just need to hunt out the hippies lol lol lol lol But as far as major city smoke most now days is grown indoors and is high grade hydro. It's not uncommon to score White Widow or Northern Lights at the local pub, it's hard to sell shit pot to an Ozzie lol lol lol lol lolshades_smile.gif

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
