Get home from work today and do the usual, go check the girls. So I open the tent to find 15L of nutrient solution on the outside of hydro system and submerge in the solution is my tri-meter and air stone pump. aaaaarrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhh. Needless to say the new equipment has been ordered. Rant over

That sucks man, I've had a similar problem using auto pots in the past, a float sticks and I come home to some 30 litres of fed/water on the floor of my tent!

Arrrgh,have been lucky in that sense,but i know its only a matter of time.

exctly the reason why i never had hydro in my house lol, but welll i'll have to make the jump someday :P

stick to oxy pots if you have to leave your home for long periods...the auto systems aint 100% reliable.you lucky you aint flooded neighbour or set house on fire..

To be fair I should have secured the 4th unused dripper rather than just placing it in the empty pot. Doh!

fair points, it's the 1st thing that went through my head at the time. I was extra lucky the tent has an inner base to it for situations like mine.
