Topping...

Hey everyone.

Im currently running on a student light setup = x2 45w CFL and x2 20w CFL = 130w

Cupboard grow

Strain: Dinafem Blue Hash

My question is, would topping be a bad idea with such little wattage or a good idea in terms of space and getting enough light to the entire plant? i want to try and achieve the dankest buds possible for the setup, and ive read a few forums with people complaining about getting airy buds from topping.

If i do top, im only looking to top once around the 4th or 5th node.

The plant generally will reach 60-70cm (2feet+-)

Many thanks

With this little amout of usable light i woulnt cut anything off the Plants even like ths it will take ages for the Plants to grow Buds if ur starting cutting and stuff it will only take even longer ;)

Better way to go in such a case is tie them down train them do something like a small scrogg ;)

cheers

well if you are not in a hurry with cfl the best way to grow is in SCROG, it doesnt penetrate very deep, so this way you sue all the surface of the grow and use all the light uniform way also. so it could be nice for you, but like Vertox said with little amount of light it will be a little longer and less eficient, but enough for a few smokes :)

Good luck

Yes even if they normaly like topping they just dont have enuff light to grow and heal at the same time so it will first stop grow heal and than get back to frowing wich will make u loose like 2 weeks ;)

Like dust said Scrog would be very good
