PH up with baking soda

PH determinates, what nutrients can be DISOLVED and ABSORBED. lover than 6.0PH and more NITROGEN is disolved, and higher than 6.0PH, more POTASSIUM and KALIUM is disolved. so... for veg time, try to go under 6.0PH and for flower time go up to 7.0PH. soil will buffer it to 6.5PH and the plants will be really happy.

BUT...

for it to work, you must buffer it from the start OR don't. but stick to one method, don't go with tap, then buffered, that 9.0PH, than 6.0PH,.... this will make your plant sick and will not give the best she has...

anyway, keep on learning and asking, keep growing and learn from you mistakes. it's best to try everything yourself to find what suits you, you plants and your climate the best. it takes years to dial it to perfection and many seeds and clones... once you'll have 1good round, you'll know how to go forward. but PLEASE, NO BAKING SODA and NO PH up/down WHEN IN SOIL. tap all the way:)

peace

Thanks for your reply bro. My tap water is 8.6 so i do have to lower it with some ph down drops i think. I think i finnaley found the best ph level. I am giving them ph 7.0 water and i get a run off from 6.4-6.7. Must be pretty good right?

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
