Big Bang Problem?

4 posts in this topic

Hello Fellas,

I have a Big Bang I seeded in late May plus 2 clones since then and I still see no signs of any preflowers?  This is my first plant (named Penny) she is lush, healthy and happy.

I had it under 18/6 light until 10 days ago when I put her in the dark for 3 days.. and she is back in the tent with 12/12 light to dark ratio and no change.  So she has been growing since late May and I'm wondering if this is normal? How long does it take before I have some nice buds?

I will apologize now if I have left anything out or my terminology is not correct.

Any insight is appreciated!

Penny

it can take a few weeks before it start shooting pistins and it does take 8+ weeks for buds to form and tighten so it is a waiting game u should give it another week or 2 before u worry to much yet.

If it is a regular big bang not the auto strain, then yes it can take a few weeks somemtimes to start to shoot pistil if the plant is not mature sexually. But it should come soon enough :)

Have a good grow

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
