Hello.

I am growing Lowryders in soil with Biobizz grow an bloom under 125w Duel CFL.

One of my plants has become a, in comparison with the norm, MONSTER! (in a bad way)

She is 1m tall has very spindly branches with tiny colas.

Can anyone tell me whats up?

Not enough light therefore unusual stretch. Give her at least 300W with CFL to minimise tat and improve bud production.

Personally I would either go with 300W LED or 150W HPS both will give way better results.

For optimal yield 600-1000W HPS or 700-1200W LED is suggested. But for 1 -2 plants, percy grow and limited space you can get away with with 300W LED or 150W HPS. 300W CFL sjould be minimum.

Also try keeping it as close to the plant as you can without burning. With CFL you can get away with very close.

Cheers guys!

I thought it might be stretch but i wasnt sure because it only happened in 1 or 3 plants!

Yeah im happy you think they look good, might make a grow journal when they are finished.

Good details about lighting leyus, if recently purchased a 50*50*100cm tent in which to flower, what light would you recommend for that? I was thinking of a red 300w cfl as this would be best for heat and the lecky bills! i don't think I've got the capital for  an LED system! what do you guys think? 150w HPS?

Saludos guys!

No problem mate. I forgot to mention that CFL gives me long internodes while LED gives extremely small. On youtube you can check that even guys who used HPS are surprised by this, I think it got something to do with very high intensity and penetration that most of LED lights have.

You can always combine both light together LED and CFL. Both can be kept fairly close so it shouldn't be a problem and together you get decent amount of W for a percy grow.

Good luck mate!
