Hi mate,

You need to learn about your camera settings. You must learn everything, to always work in manual option, never automatic.

You must learn to work the white balance: How to...

It may seem complicated, but with practice and patience, you learn.

Cheers :)

Robbo

best is to go in just before light on, take a litle lamp and set photo on auto and minimal flash. shine light on the plants just enought to get the focus and shoot. you'll get the pics in "natural light".

the other way is with filters. lens filters that is, not post-process editing filter...

and what Jose said :)

bless

man

Hi,

I have use Sony DSC-HX100V old camera (around 5yrs old now... the best is take your plants out then swith ON good top "blue light"....but always I shoot my pics with lens nearly touching the tissue of the plant with minimum ZoOm. I have settings to zoom up to 30X so I just use 1.7X - 1.9X...always the size of the lens(radius and lenght) plays a big role in quality of pictures..also you can order MACRO LENS like :http://www.digitaltoyshop.com/4x_MACRO_Conversion_Lens_Sony_DSC-HX100V_t2372_5905_1

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
