3 posts in this topic

A nice lady I know just came back from Jamaica and said she had some seed with which she wished to co op.

she said that they were from a "durban indica skunk" strain which had been grown in the Westmoreland Hills area for over 35 years.

can anyone give me some information about this strain. she said it finished in 6 - 8 weeks and it was grown outdoors. otherwise thats all I know about it.

is it worth growing what is the basic profile etc...

thanks in advance

Hi bro, how are you.

Listen I never heard about this plant, but if she said is from a Durban Indica Skunk, It could be anything.

There are no Indica landraces in S Africa, plus if it is a cross with skunk, you have unlimited possibilities.

So maybe someone was growing an indica-skunk plant in SA and they took beans to Jamaica.

Hard to know.

Take care.

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
