Hiho,

think the first problems are starting^^ maybe some of u have a clue or good advice.

Data:

60x60x160 tent

150w NDL (still :-( I know...no comment on this pls^^)

?11-13l? airpots

soil: Canna terra professionel plus

nutes: Canna rhizotonic...Hesi TNT...Hesi Flower...Hesi P plus (P/K 7-5)

Strain: Blue Automazar DP

Day 44

temp day: 22-25 °C

temp night : 12-16 °C

humidity 50

I germinated the two plants in their final pots...both had a great start indeed never saw one of my plants ( but just a few grows and no autos^^) growing this fast, with a finger thick stalk after 2 weeks. Very uniform groth of both plants...looks like clones^^

I decided to perform some lst because of the underpowered lamp and I had good experience with this method...

worked well for #2 but not optimal for #1...

a week ago the stretch visibly stopped and I flushed and switched to bloom nutes (80%) and P plus (80% of whats recommended). Now first! set of fan leafes slowly! started to die (get light green then yellow then drydie) 2 of the five fingerst still green. I dont think thats a problem. But the top of Plant #1 (pic 2 and 3...4 and 5 ist #2 looking good) show yellow leafs...mostly the main Bud...its also the closest to the light (as I was telling LST didnt work out well for both).

Run off is slightly acidic (just ph paper) 6ish..root system should be fine....

Hi man, what doses do you give of your ferts and how often? i havent tried Hesi personally, but dosage would help a little bit, for myself a i see a slight overfeeding maybe the way it seems to have developped. but it would to know how much to be sure :) I dont think your lower leaves are relted to the tops, at this stage of flowering when the flowers are in full development, the plants really often loose there older leaves.

Have a good grow

Thanks for the answer^^ yeah Im not worried about the lower ones eather...

50 ml on 10 l of the 3-3-4 NPK bloom and 25 ml on 10 L of the PK 7-5 is recommended... 2 days after the post stretch flush (dry pots) I gave like 4 and 2 ml on 1l...(Ph corrector is included in  Hesi products) 3 days later again (yesterday) ....today I noticed the change to yellow....to much sounds reasoneble^^

Last grow I used 40-60% of the recommended dose and had a slight deficiency (sure) the whole grow...this time I wanted to go one step further

hesi nutes need to be cut to half of recomended dosage / just use the EC meter and keep the levels where needed.

also, hesi PK has a lot of P in it and by adding any PH- you already add a lot of P so basically you don't need the PK. instead, use pure K(kalium) and add as much as uou add PH-. that way you wont get any P lockouts, since that was my problem and probably is yours.

also, look for data on your cal/mag levels in water, if you use RO, add more cal/mag.

good luck

Hiho,

#1 and #2...think u can figure out which one is the one with the problem (#1)....gave her water with a tiny bit of molasses.

#2 is on 50% instead of 80%.

Problem didnt get more severe I think. Wait how she respondes to the water program.

Other pics are both togeter and #2 from her chocolate side.

yeah, #1 has the lockout problem and/or cal-mag def. in my cases, I couldn't do nothing to fix it so I just went till the end with normal flush and everything. as you see, you still got some nice buds and the plant looks healthy but got a bit sick while blooming. no worries, I recomend you to add some cal-mag and forget about PK. if it's not available, go with some limestone and add it to eighter the watter or the soil, just don't over do it. a handfull per 50l of it will be enough.

maybe for consideration for the future:

get PowderFeeding and suplement it with some SuperVit, Rhizotonic and BioBloom, Hygrozyme is amazing but costs a lot and maybe some Bud Factor X from AN. those are all just suplements, vitamins and minerals, so no NPK. you'll get enough from PF. you don't need to add ALL but just some. also would recomend to go COCO, since it's really good and just makes the plants happier:)

anyway, if you have anymore Q or problems, just put it down and we'll solve it together:)

keep on growing

Again thanks for the fast reply.

Availability is never the problem Ill mix it myself^^ and my scale shows 5 charakters = ,00000g precisely.

Im a lab guy (bacteria, fungi, virus). One of the reasons I want to stick to soil...have enormous trust in the microflora an the benefits for the taste and buffer ;-)

  • 2 weeks later...

Hiho,

after a flush and drying them for 4 days (think I over done it with waiting...yesterday lower leafes were hanging down) I gave them a mild nute solution (ph 6.5). 30 minutes later the leafs were up again.

No new signs of ph problems I think (no light spots on the leaf).

But #1 seems to have a solid deficiency of everything.

Here is the ting...#2 the greener one is 1-2 weeks ahead of the yellow #1. #2 Pistill ratio of 50/50 brown/white...not any ambering in the trichs but should start soon. Think a 1 week with nutes one without and shes done for ( day 77, breeder says 70).

But #1 is at least ready in 3-4 weeks 90-95% white pistills and "fluffy" buds. But not sure if she will make it that far ?!...planned 1 week nutes 1 week water/molasses and 1-2 weeks plain water...

here some pics...

yes, plants that had problems will try to solve it on their own by naturally protecting herself. I had plants that had problems and eventually when harvested, they were more potent but less smelly. I think, that plants that have difficulties while growing will produce more thc, that those who don't. coz thc is a natural producer in ganja, due to plants thinking it will die soon.

so,... don't worry, keep them hydrated and watch for any external problems(fungi, gnat, pm,...) if nothing else goes wrong, wait for the plant to be ready to harvest and than cut it. maybe it will take a few days longer but in amy case, let it rip till the end.

for further growing, keep the PH and TEMP in the sweet spot - PH in soil:6.5, hydro:5,5-5,9, TEMP: 20-27, WATER TEMP 20-22!

and p.s.: in my experience, leaves were light green when humidity in the room was too low, and dark green when it was above 60%.

bless you and your ladies :)

peace

Hiho,

2 days ago both ladies got their final flush. 20 l water pH 6 ish for each. Think I will feed both with pure water one last time when dried up again...

due to the fact that I use the tent also for drying I have to chop both of them...in about 5 days I think. The bigger one is obviously not as ripe as the smaller one...but both lost many fan-leaves.

Problem!

...#1 (last pic) is doing fine...few days to go...but #2 (first 3 pics) starts to cannabalise its suguar leaves and appeares really ripe (but just a few! amber trichs mainly milky). Problem is that I intended to chop them both the same time...and last flush is just 3 days ago...but Im worried #2 will literally die (some pistills falling of already).

So what do u guys think? Wait and chop both in 4-5 Days or Kill #2 soon and let #1 bloom on a while?

110g "dry" main buds(in jars right now)..6g  chocolate  from 50g trim.

#2 still smells like fresh chopped gras...green. Hinds of pine and earth...but g I got to wait

#1 smells like one fresh cut lemon...for just 7 days of drying. very graipfruit like...

wait for more to come
