Fan - Inlet & Outlet

Hi all, first time on here but really enjoying a good read! I have a couple of queries in regards to fan cycles ( if there is any).

I'm aware of the size of fan I require but a friend if mine suggested running air into the room for 15 minutes at the beginning of the hour and running air out for 15 at the end of the hour. This got me thinking as I have been running both 24/7 and had never given it much though on wether or not that is correct.

Would be awesome to get advice if anyone e has any tips for me, this is my first grow so it has already been a huge learning curve.

Sorry if there is another post addressing this a link would do just fine :)

hi,  you are right in running your fans 24/7 unless you are using co2 suppliment

then they need to be in a cycle with the co2 injection.

Ventilation and Circulation fans need running all the time stagnant air will

decrease your yield and you could have possible mold problems with high

humidity later in flower

Hope this helps

Peace

Well yeah slim is right in the sense for 90% of the grower it is better to run 24/7 the ventilation, much safer :) But your friend is a little bit right too, like slim pointed this regiment of ventilation your friend suggested is perfect to allow your plants to use a little bit more the CO2 in the room. So if you get osme high temps during summer for example you could think about using co2, for the moment the safer is 24/7 and nice flowers :)

Have a good grow hope to see some photos on the forum ;)
