Waterfarm question!?

Ok, I got a waterfarm bucket (just 1) and the reservoir and controller, my job has me out of town frequently but I'm never gone longer than 5 days. Will my plants make it with out being tended to everyday? Will the reservoir maintain the PH and the level of nutrients? And is it safe to say I will need to dump the water out each week when I get back?
