Albino plants are beautiful, thanks for sharing.

But I have my views on this:

The first picture looks like a lack of potassium, and also too much light. This causes discolored leaves. But the contrast with red bud, it's great, I love it.

The second photo is easy to get, you should put too much light (to use cooltube and great cooling system, to avoid burning the plant from excessive heat).

Too much light kills the cells, nitrogen .... then albinism occurs. The plant loses all color and becomes white.

Another reason may be genetic, some plants show a leaf or bud, albino, is a gift of nature.

Greetings!

the genetical variation of albinoism in the plant is not desirable feature by any means altho it looks very beutiful  it also means less photosynthesis, thus slower plant and less yield

i read long time ago about nycd line carrying this genetic feature and sure enough sweet seeds icecool i had that is a nycd cross had tendency to bleanching closer to light and was terribly slow plant

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
