Hi Popo,

Actually I would not change the light schedule, depending on where you live it might be better to have the lights on in the night when the temperature is lower than during the day. Many growers have heat problems these days and actually leave the light on in the night for that reason.

If you really need to change it, make sure that you keep the 12 hours darkness (or more). Every change might stress the plant so I would not really recommend it but I also did not try it myself so maybe somebody else has more experience with that specific topic and can give you better advice.

Thank you very much guys! I don't have another chance, i must to change the cycle. I'll try giving 24 hours of darkness to the ladies and after i begin with the new light cycle. Next month i'm back to tell you what happened. All the best!

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
