State by State Legalization in US and How it Regards to Shipping?

So I had recently tried to ship some seeds, but it said that "due to the current political climate we can't" or some total BS. So anyways, I got in contact with a customer service representative. They responded with "Although in your state seeds maybe legal, federally they aren't." So I guess what I am so pissed about is that Greenhouse will ship to other countries in Europe where it is more illegal than in my own state, but because I live in a federation as opposed to a "union" I have to wait until people in Alabama decide to legalize or are dragged into a situation where they must legalize it. (I am betting I'll be dead before that happens) You have distributors in the UK for Christ's sake. I am not subscribing to this answer, there is just no way. If it were the case then they wouldn't be able to send them even to themselves, because for the majorities part the EU has supported an illegal state for cannabis. I just can't subscribe to that logic, because it's total crap and a half!

send to canada and just drive there :)

joke...but that's really sad, feds are fucking up a lot of stuff, now they are some sort of "authority" in EU aswell... I live in Slovenia, insignifiCunt little country in EU, can buy seeds and equipment everywhere, but stil got one pack of seeds "confiscated and sent to test" but heard or got nothing from them since(seeds were badly packed but anyways) also once I forgot I had a lamp and a filter in my trunk, got pulled over on "routine check" and then when they "found it" all hell broke loose. it was christmass for that douche but nothing for me, they just took the equipment even though I had the receipt and everything...

so don't worry, the "authorities" are bunch of cunts all over the globe ;)

p.s. how's Oregon anyway? and can you advice me on something: Seattle or Vancuver?(I know it's not Oregon but it's near:)) I plan on visiting/moving to one of those places but want to know first hand where it's better for to live and to grow;)

thanks and bless you

Yeah Oregon is great. We are fully legalized, and I still can't get jack crap. That's why I am so incredibly pissed! I am biased but, also have my reasons for staying in Oregon while Washington had a year of legalization ahead of us. First off, we're more liberal and more socialist than they are, even though we shouldn't discredit them either, at least they aren't Texas or Louisiana LMAO! But by far Oregon is the best state in the union, and I know this because when people from other states come here - they stay forever. Secondly, Oregon's legislature for marijuana is more free, and I knew it would be, because of our extremely liberal tendencies. Portland where I am from is slightly above the 45 parallel, and resides in a valley, so is extremely fertile. Now we have about 9 days less summer/fall for our outdoor in comparison to the emerald triangle in North California, but it isn't much trouble to just put up a clear tent at the last two weeks of flower to avoid bud rot and powdery mildew, ect ect. Your police force sounds horrible btw. IS Slovenia like a police state or something? Random check points on your way home sounds like an obstruction of freedom. That we do not have here. Now are we a police state? In some places, but nothing like that, and Oregon is very open and very free, while remaining very liberal and essentially socialist. There is only a couple pockets like this in the states. Seattle you might find more fitting, but is essentially the same. Vermont is socialist, but weed is illegal there still, but I can't imagine for much longer. North California is all but bought up after their medical legalization, and it's okay there too, however in comparison to Oregon they are very self-centered society IMO. We like them, but we like them where they are, which is not in Oregon LOL. So come to Oregon, and live in Portland if you need a big city, or go live in like Eugene or Salem, Corvallis if you need more room. Now the biggest down side to Washington state is that it gets a lot less Fall time and a lot more rain early, not sure on the exact measurement, but it looks to be about parallel to Paris or so, just it lies on the Puget Sound, and the Pacific Ocean so it's very moist. I think they grow grapes better than weed. Portland from what i can tell grows some of the best outdoor Fall weed in the world.

that was a really good info, just what I needed. thank you!

yeah I heard a lot of good things about Oregon and always had a dream to go for my own "trinity": BC, Wash, Oregon :) well when I'll land in Seattle, I have a place there to stay for free and can stay for 3months, I can come to Portland and you can show me around for a day, if you for it ;) would like to show some Balkanian grow and smoke styles, will bring some seeds to trade :)

well Slovenia is a special country. before 1991 we were a part of Yugoslavia, country that was at the top with US and Russia for quite some time. when we split from Yu and became independent there was a few years of bliss but since we entered EU in 2005 we became slaves. the whole county is now SOLD OUT to various countries(US, Germany, Austria, Croatia,..) and we as a county have less then 10 companies as a majority share holder. everything stil "works" but slowly and surely we are becoming some kind of police state. laws are not in people's hands anymore and elections are a joke(something similar is going on in US - I guess). and "the people" are quite egoistic and big pussies. you must know that at this moment we have 3 diff generations that were brought up in diff sistems...

anyway, check points are something normal for our police. they wait aside the road and stop random vehicles. they say it's a routing check for "speed or alcohol" and the cars necessary equipment: first aid, spare tire, jacket and also profile on tires. no joke. that way they basically check the whole car since you have to open doors and trunk. and if you refuse they can arrest you and give you a fine. if you refuse alcohol test they can call a "medical police station" that will do the blood test on the spot. there's no "why did you stop me?" or "am I being deatined?-if not can I freely go?" type of thing like in the US(I saw some vids of folks being randomly stoped near the Mexican border).

so, you tell me, are we a police state? :)

thank you again

bless
