Jankahar's Slex test grows

98 posts in this topic

little bit late with the update but here it is day 35-36 from soak, should be mature adults any day now

i re potted them couple days ago in 6liter pots and they also got some taste of the 600w for few days now, they had such low light conditions earlier compared to now so i am expecting things to speed up quite dramatically from now on, i will probably leave them in 12/12 after next weekend if they have rooted well by than and well adjusted to new light

there was this little damage in 1 node on the plant that looked a bit retarded at start and it repaired and grew the node in funny looking way, almost like its grafted on it, but i haven't done any grafting in long time hehe

day 42-43 from germination. the girls have adjusted pretty well to the hps light now and got nice growing vigour, i left them yesterday in flower tent for first 12h dark period so it is the end of first flower day in pictures just before lights go off and now they are on there second day

i still have the two slexes waiting in seedling pots(forgot pic ill add tomorrow) that i germed as backup and replacement for the one i lost, they are at day 31 from germination still pretty small and struggling in the tiny seedling pots but i must wait to get more space in flower tent and see how these react before i can decide how and what setup i use on the two, 1 will probably go in dwc if not both of them

here they are at day 7 since flipping lights, they have grown with nice vigour for the first week of flowering

i have fed them now every 2-3 days 1,7-2liters with  4-3-4 NPK ratio   0.8-0.9EC  tap water starting from 0.14EC

now im going start moving the npk ratios slowly towards flowering ratios, lots of more K in future, little bit more P and less N but i will make those changes gradually

day 13 of flowering girls have grown pretty tall with excellent vigor and they are well in to the flowering now

surprisingly the plant with thin and most haze sativa looking leafs is staying little bit shorter than the 2 with fatter leafs, and the other ''sativa leaf'' plant that had damaged node early on is tall too

i cant wait to see what bud structures each girl have as the plot is getting thicker:)

here is some bud por* for you as well a Super Lemon Haze at day 63 just before harvesting hihii

i actually harvested 4 colas last friday as this phenotype i have ripens really early  (currently smoking some test buds of it hihi)

it has super fast growth and flowering, the smell is more pungent spicy lemon than sweet lemon and it gets over ripe for my taste with lots of amber and pungent taste around 10weeks~ but some like that:)

these pictures are from yesterday at day 21 of flowering i could not upload them last night, plants have developed really well and look extremely promising :)

hard to tell from the pictures but the two fatter leaved plants have quite a bit more resin on them so far

and they have also developed buds much faster than the more hazy phenos thought the hazy phenos might just need week or two more longer in the end i wont judge them yet:).

i like the bud structures they are showing it looks like colas will fill out really nice in the end

i also noticed they all got very strong and stiff stems and wont probably need much support if any later on but i still have the bamboo sticks on the pots so i can tie em later

the two more hazy phenos are also showing slight sensitivity for the nitrates in food and would probably like little more P instead atm (i have fed all same doses so far) and the two fatter seem to be happy with the NPK ratio ive given so far

i will probably start customizing there feedings soon to avoid any N toxicity if they show more sensitivity towards it , the super lemon haze pheno i have is also sensitive to the N and wants massive amounts of K in mid flower, these hazy phenos probably want the same

it is hard to believe they will go 10-13 weeks since they are developing so fast :D

Hello mate and Happy New Year !!

Happy new Year and hat's off to your grow ! You did some topping to them I guesss ? Should do the same with the next SLEX, since the distance betweeen internodes is extremely wide apart and just one main stem won't bring much product. Indeed real HAZE phenos mainly. I was surprised with the size of my HAZE type SLEX. Anyway keep on growing that way and soon we'll see the results of the SLEX. Definitely something special, been a while since I had to deal with a real HAZE. Wonder how tall she will get in the end ...

day 28-29 of flowering

plants are still healthy and developing really fast:) im really happy with them, the thin leafed haze phenos have also started making the resin properly now

nr4 and nr2 has very heavy buds already and they are starting to lean so i added some steel wire support after taking pics, looks like they will be very high yielding plants with lots of resin:)

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
