Hello hunters, fellow testers and viewers.

Im going to tell you a short story...

It started with 2 seedlings that found eachother wrapped in a bunch of wet toilet paper for 8hours.

With a little help they reached soil in 11L containers where they will live happily ever after.

Here's the story after :P

Hey guys, finally got to take a few pictures again.

Girls have had some light stress. The timer on the flower room broke wich had me switching the one from veg room to use with the flower room. Putting veg room into 24/24h 200w LED. This was working "OK". I went to purchase a new timer but it was broke in store.

Today i dont need to get another timer, since i moved both to flower room.

They are ready :D

GHK1 Day 19 Veg (2days 24/0 200w Full spectrum LED)

Switched to 12/12 - 600w HPS + 250w HPS - pH 6-6.5 - EC0.9 (Straight from the tap)

GHK2 Day 19 Veg (2days 24/0 200w Full spectrum LED)

Switched to 12/12 - 600w HPS + 250w HPS - pH 6-6.5 - EC0.9 (Straight from the tap)

Noticed that the plants show indica dominant traits. short broad leaves, stacked internodes. I hope they stretch quite abit soon. :P

Anyway hunters, see you next update.

Very nice thick stem and green colour. It's indeed a nice Indica and doesn't stretch very much but you will have a massive main bud in the end

WOW, Salvatore Riina, your plants are just exploding with growth.

Can you please enlighten us with your secret?  How did you mix your soil?  And which nutrients are you feeding, and at what mix-Ratios and how often?

Yours is truly an amazing result so far...

I used about 40% dry soil with perlite ( has been there for a year still in pot with plant remain) and 60% fresh DCM soil for vegetables :P. Havent fed them alot either. Along with my flower plants they get just water for now.

And thanks for everyone for their oppinion :)

Now i was thinking, i need your opinion for this one.

Also can it count for contest ?

I would reveg the best of the 2 GHK for a good 2-3 week and take a bunch of clones after that. Get my 30 Gallon smartpot and fill it up again, put about 30-40 clones inthere and flower 12/12 after translplant. Will need to get some clones different sizes to bend them outwards to make some extra space. Or maybe i should veg a few week also ?

Salvatore Riina,

Thanks for the Explanation about your soil.

My Opinion:

I think that just about any growing Method or Variation is acceptible in this competition.  The more the merrier, I would say.

What counts is that one shows and describes one's methods, and honestly records the results.  Of course, excellent results and beautiful plants might naturally have a positive influence on the Jury.  But poor results or disasters should also be displayed, so that everyone can also see what doesn't work so well.

Also, when one can share one's discoveries or secret methods, that is Special.  Keep everyone smiling.

Good Luck with your grow and results.

Your welcome Cannabissapean :)

So here's another update, this time only about GHK#1

After 9 days of 12/12 in a room with 850w ( 600w + 250w HPS - Distance about 90cm) i decided to make a mother out of her.
The plant was topped and removed of its major fanleaves + bottom 2 branches.
Those 2 branches i've cut with an angle of 45° and dead center ( 5mm deep ) where the first 2 leaves were on the branch.
Dipped them into cloning gel and planted in the same pot with their mother :)

Here's the pictures

GHK#1
Intially 19 Days 18/6 200w Full spectrum
Then 9 Days 12/12 850w HPS
Now revegging in 200w Full Spectrum

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
