lopoleon Posted November 11, 2010 Share Posted November 11, 2010 I have a Grow room I have built. The demensions are as follows 3' high x 3' wide x 2 1/2 deep. I have 5 26 wtt cfl lights. I wanted to know how big do you let yours get b4 you move them into the 400 watt section(hps). I wanted to get the sun systems grow light inclosed ballast for the flowering 4 now. 250 watt or either the 150 watt. Do you think this is enough light for the area I have given. alwaysclosing1 Posted November 11, 2010 Author Share Posted November 11, 2010 Depends what strain I have a big bang white widow and cheese i let get about 3 feet before flowering but my flower room is 8x8x8 so i have the room, you could start flowering after you start seeing the pre-flowers develop usually there about 12-16 inches tallI would get a 400w switchable ballast so you can use a MH or HPS bulb there not much more money and you can almost never have to much light during flowering.Use the MH during floweringGrow big Alwaysclosing1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
