Oregon Trail

Mid to southern Oregon has not only some of the best tasting, but most potent marijuana I have ever found.

With the resent legalization of recreational marijuana in most US states we have seen old-school growers pop up out of the mountains with flowers testing over 25 THC and 19 CBD.

Now this is the most basic testing offered here but it is clear that what they have been working on is high grade organic marijuana.

They grow for the love of growing.

The most people here are waiting for the government to ruin this new legality by way of government-regulated mediation.

But for now, it seems that the grass is infact greener in Oregon and people are living the dream..... for now.

I guess Ghsc would find a great source of nice new crosses but they do look for landraces and i do not see that many of those in Oregon. ;)

That is true.

But to land races can be found in Oregon if you know where to look.

For example, it's taken me eight years to locate 2 virgin land races.

One was in Humboldt County and the other was on bly mountain.

Whether these land races still exist to this day I have no idea.

It's been 4 years since I've been to either of these locations and a lot can happen in 4 years so that information is almost useless.

However if anyone has heard of pure land races being grown in Oregon, I would gladly scout it out for ghsc to see if there were any truth to it.

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
