  1. Hello Family awesome Colombia expedition, we really hope you enjoy!! Strain Hunters Team! ... "You might not know who Arjan Roskam is, but you’ve probably smoked his weed. Arjan’s been breeding some of the most famous marijuana strains in the world—like White Widow, Super Silver Haze, and many others—for over 20 years. In 1992 he opened his first coffee shop in Amsterdam and has since crafted his marijuana-breeding skills into a market-savvy empire known as Green House Seed Company, which rakes in millions of dollars a year. He's won 38 Cannabis Cups, and has even dubbed himself the King of Cannabis. VICE joins Arjan and his crew of strain hunters in Colombia to look for three of the country's rarest types of weed, strains that have remained genetically pure for decades. In grower's terms, these are called "landraces." We trudge up mountains and crisscross military checkpoints in the country's still-violent south, and then head north to the breathtaking Caribbean coast. As the dominoes of criminalization fall throughout the world, Arjan is positioned to be at the forefront of the legitimate international seed trade.

  12. Hello hunters!!! I am glad to be back with some really nice content for all of you!! As you must have noticed already the Hunters have been back on the road lately with the Vice team, and they have had a tough and long road in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Africa !! So i have been trying to collect as much infos as possible for you about the trip, it was of course impossible for us to do a Live Thread this time for security reasons, but Franco wrote for you a nice summary of the Expedition and some photos From Jackson and Gil the two photographs of the team, and Simon. I edited a small video as well for you guys to see a little bit how congo is looking! You will not see the fields this time as we reserve them for the movie and to keep the full surprise! But Franco as always did a great job filming all his moves and it gives you the opportunity to have a small preview of whats to come! I hope all of you will enjoy this and stay tuned for the big release in september/october hopefully! STRAIN HUNTERS CONGO EXPEDITION 2016 - Teaser article Almost 3 years went by since our last expedition in Colombia, and it was with great pleasure that Arjan, Simon and myself boarded a flight from Brussels to Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, on a cold morning last February. Strain hunting is not easy, especially when it has to be filmed and documented professionally. After the Colombia expedition, the first of our travels produced by the world-famous documentary channel Vice, we immediately started working hard on selecting destinations for the next adventure. Nevertheless we were struggling to get the type of good links on the ground that are needed for such missions. After many unsuccessful attempts at several destinations, finally a really good opportunity popped out, concerning the DRC: a friend of Simon, who wishes to stay anonymous, offered the possibility to work closely with Congolese local authorities, to obtain an authorisation to film rural areas in the vast African country. After months of preparation, by the summer of 2015 it became clear that the expedition to Congo was really possible. Thanks to the cooperation of the Congolese Minister of Communications, Media and Culture we got authorisation to film a documentary on the rural communities of Congo and their main medicinal plant: cannabis. All of this with the support of the local police and the army. In the history of Strain Hunters it was the first time we ever obtained an official authorisation, and we were all very excited about it. Preparation for our mission started full scale: travel documents and visas, vaccinations, equipment, gathering of maps and GPS equipment, and all the other necessary preparations. Like in Colombia, also for Congo we had the privilege of having the production done by Jackson Fager and his Vice team, one of the most professional documentary maker and cameraman out there. Jackson selected for the mission cameraman and drone-pilot Chris—, and sound-man Ramsay —, two very skilled professionals, and great travel companions. We were also able to connect with Christo, a Rastafarian from Belgium who lived in Congo many years and speaks the local N’gala language fluently, and agreed to guide us during the expedition, together with local friends Kabo, a French-Congolese local fixer; and Kaza, a local Rastafarian involved with the local FERACO (Federation of Congolese Rastafarians, recognised by the government and with over 60000 registered members). Simon, Christo, Kabo and Kaza met in Congo already a couple of months before the mission, and scouted the areas we were interested in, looking for links and for cannabis fields. So we go back to that cold Brussel morning, when the group of 7 hunters met at the airport and boarded a flight to Kinshasa, where Simon, Kabo and Kaza were already waiting for our arrival. As we landed it became immediately clear that our contacts were at the top level, because we were picked up at the airplane door by military escort and driven directly into the presidential lounge. There we had some drinks, waiting for customs formalities to be taken care of, and I was even allowed to smoke a quick spliff right outside, on the airport tarmac, looking at the planes parked. It felt unreal, and it was the first sign that Congo is a cannabis-friendly country. The very sad colonial history of the country, dominated by the Belgians for over two centuries until 1965, is not to be overlooked when trying to understand the Congolese position on cannabis. Officially cannabis is illegal in Congo, but the only laws forbidding it are old colonial laws, never really applied since the independence. Congolese have a great Rastafarian cultural tradition and they use cannabis since ancient times as a medicine, religious and recreational aid. It is one of the African countries with the highest cannabis use between the population, especially in rural areas where medicines are rarely available. Congo has been thorn apart by a long civil war, started during the 1960s and never really resolved until very recent times. Over 30 years of internal conflict, fuelled by Russia and the USA during cold war years and later on by the race for the local abundant mineral resources, has left the country with very little infrastructure. The main roads are in bad conditions, and distances are immense. The Congo river, one of the largest in the world, functions as the main highway from the capital Kinshasa all the way to the equatorial province, with canoes, boats and barges navigating restlessly the over 2000 kilometres of calm, murky waters. In the central and southern parts of the country the monetary activity is dominant, with mines extracting all kind of rare minerals and precious stones. We had a very detailed travel plan in mind, covering the three main areas where cannabis is produced in the country: the area of Bacongo, between the capital Kinshasa and the Angolan border; the northern area of the Equatorial Province, around the city of Kisangani; and the area around Mbuji Mayi, in the mining district in the middle of the country. We spent the first 2 days in Kinshasa, visiting Feraco headquarters and gathering information on the local landraces of cannabis, the world famous Congolese Red and Congolese Black. Then, the real adventure begun. It was three weeks of travels, emotions, and great findings, through one of the most amazing countries I’ve ever visited in my life. It’s hard to describe Congo, everything is extreme there. Nature is on steroids; the jungle is lush and impenetrable; the sun is hotter and more intense than anywhere else because it’s at the equator; the rain falls so hard that no protection can keep you dry; the people can be the kindest and most hospitable or the most aggressive and hard to deal with, according to the circumstances. And the cannabis… the cannabis of Congo is truly amazing. It’s one of the oldest and purest African landraces. Cannabis was introduced to Northern Africa from Asia, with the silk-road, and then was brought south into the African continent with the Bantu migration, spanning over 1000 years from 1500 to 500 B.C. Congo is one of the places in Africa where the local landrace stayed very isolated for hundreds of years, maybe more. The combination of several factors ensures this precious situation: decades of war made the country virtually unaccessible to tourists and travellers, avoiding the “hippie trail phenomenon” typical of other areas. Congolese people have always consumed cannabis in large amounts, requiring a steady local production. And finally, Congolese produce enough for their own internal consumption, avoiding importing cannabis from other places, thus preserving the landrace. The Congolese landrace in both its expressions of “red” and “black” is a very tall, lanky sativa, with a very high THC and THCV content and very low in CBD and CBN. It has a very minty, fresh flavour and a giggly strong high, very creative and inspiring, almost energising. The mission was a complete success, we were able to retrieve large amounts of local seeds from selected individuals in the fields, in 3 different regions of Congo. And we made what I believe it’s going to be the most exciting and interesting documentary ever, thanks to the competence, passion and talent of Jackson and his team at Vice. Stay tuned, HBO will broadcast it between September 2016 and March 2017, part of the “Vice on HBO show”. After that it will be online on youtube. The hunt goes on. I’m already thinking about the next one. Fullgas. Franco Loja www.strainhunters.com And some photos That's it for the moment Hunters i hope you enjoyed this little teaser and remember there is much more to come real soon Have a good smoke!!

  13. Alright, here are the facts: on Tuesday 31 January at 22:00, after a huge Cheese joint, I decided to take a short break from smoking cannabis. How short, I still don't know. For sure I am not going to last too long. Maybe 3-4 days, maybe a week, maybe 2... not longer, I know it already..... I just like it TOO MUCH! And now the explanation: I started smoking cannabis in 1989. Since then, I have smoked cannabis EVERY DAY, except for: - 7 days in March 1998 (I was in the hospital) - 14 days in October 1999 (I was in the hospital for 7 days, and feeling like shit for the next 7) - 7 days in March 2011 (during a bad bronchitis I decided to see if I was able to stop, just to prove myself to myself) So, let's put this down to the math: in the last 22 years I have been smoking weed for approximately 8035 days, and NOT smoking it for 28 days (or 0,3% of the days). I am not far from reaching the 40 years old milestone. I think it's time to prove myself that I smoke cannabis because I like it, and not because it's just the norm in my life. And the best way to do that it's to stop for a little bit every once in a while. I decided to start this blog-entry to share my experience and my feelings with the community. After all, nobody can understand better than my fellow tokers.... And now on with the chronicles: DAY 1 - waking up knowing that the only breakfast will be a cigarette and a glass of orange juice is not really appealing. But I am determined to do this. The day goes on, I am really busy at the office and I manage to get to lunchtime without too much stress. After lunch I really struggle, so I allow myself 2 cigarettes in a row. My colleagues don't know I have stopped weed, and I am not telling anyone for the moment. Avoiding the subject is the best way to not think about it too much. The rest of the afternoon goes by fast, but then comes the hardest part: the evening. I eat a nice dinner, play with my kids, then go out in the garden for a cigarette. I am really, really close to giving up. But I don't. When the kids are in bed I try to distract myself with iPad, TV, iPod, iMac, and Nintendo. It's not enough. I am literally freaking out. My heartbeat is slightly faster than normal, and the palms of my hands are a little sweaty. Who said weed is not addictive? LOL Time to go to sleep. I smoke one more cigarette, then lay in bed wide awake for a couple of hours before I finally pass out. Hard day. Really hard day. But it's normal, it's day 1. DAY 2 - I woke up less stressed than yesterday. It's all in the mind... ;-) Even though it's -7 degrees outside, I decide to take my Ducati because today it's the last dry, sunny day of this week. Tomorrow snow will come. I have an appointment at the Coffeeshop in the Haarlemmerstraat, and I am really scared that I am not going to resist temptation. As soon as I arrive the sweet smell of weed penetrates my nose, and my soul. My appointment rolls 3 joints in 30 minutes, but I don't even blink. After 15 minutes I walk outside and smoke a cigarette. Now everybody start asking me why I am not smoking joints, so I have to let the news go public. LOL After the Coffeeshop I go to the office. There nobody knows yet, and this makes it easier on me. I smoke 2 cigarettes in 20 minutes, then dive into my work: writing articles for the new issue of Canamo Magazine, and helping the designers produce new banners for Powder Feeding. It's now past 15:00 and I am doing a lot better than yesterday. Hopefully tonight will be also a little easier than last night.... Tomorrow I'll let you know. And now let's talk money: who wants to bet on how long I am going to last? Who's gonna be the official "bookie"? Can I bet 10 Euros on myself for a 7-days-clean strike? How are the quotes? LOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  22. 25th Cannabis Cup more info; http://cannabiscup2012.com/ DATES FOR CANNABIS CUP 2012: 11/18-11/22 If you don’t know what the Cannabis Cup is, then you have probably been living in a cave somewhere. This has become the worlds premier Cannabis festival. Started in 1987, the Cannabis Cup is now in its 25th year. It always takes place in Amsterdam where the marijuana laws are most lax and allow for the larger scale event that the Cannabis Cup has come to be. The festival has traditionally centered all activity around the judging of different strains of marijuana, usually coming from many of the coffee shops around Amsterdam. But beginning with the 6th Cannabis Cup, the founder Steven Hager began fusing counterculture spirituality into the event. The High Times Cannabis Cup now typically includes live music, comedy and an expo for marijuana-related products from cannabis-oriented businesses. This event has become very popular over the last several years and many tourists go to Amsterdam specifically to attend this festival. We are here to offer you any pertinent information regarding the 2011 Cannabis Cup. Please browse the information below as well as our blog and other pages to get more information about the Cannabis Cup 2012. Also, be sure to check out our Amsterdam Coffee Shop Map. Cheers family!!!

  24. Ever since we started growing and breeding cannabis we have been looking for the perfect plant feeding. Never satisfied with the results from using several brands available on the market, we started researching our own formula at the beginning of the third millennium. After several years spent in the lab and in the growrooms, investing significant resources in R&D, we came up with a new concept: keep it simple! Simplicity is our secret for success. Most fertilizer brands on the market require customers to buy a line of products, making things expensive and complicated. We aimed in the opposite direction, creating a powder product that delivers unprecedented results with minimum cost and a user-friendly approach. Easier to transport, easier to store, easier to use, and with a longer shelf life than liquid fertilizers. We are now ready to introduce GREEN HOUSE POWDER FEEDING: - It is a one-component mineral fertilizer developed to target specific types of cannabis. - Producing great cannabis has never been so easy. - One product for the whole crop. Maximum yield, maximum resin production, minimum effort. http://www.greenhousefeeding.com

  27. Hello Hunters, I begining this new topic to share with you my little play room with some home cross i make to create my personal strain and seeds. The first cross I make is the Napoleon Haze Napoleon Haze is: Mother GH Super Silver Haze (femalleseeds) X Father Soma Amnesia Haze Male. I keep two pheno of this cross the #3 and the #4 🍬🍋 Napoleon Haze #3 Napoleon Haze #4 little bud of NH #3 after a good curing During a flower run, I noticed some male flowers already open on the Dosidos (herma). The pollen flew up on my 2 phenos selection of Napoleon Haze #3 and #4. I was initially disappointed to see open male flowers in my Dosidos but later I told myself that if there are seeds in my Napoleon Haze I would sow them to see if he could come out of good cross because the two mother are super keeper plant! Right now i can say that iam very happy with the result of this selfmade cross and i already give some name for this natural cross. Leonidos is the name of the cross between the NH #3 & Dosidos It is a combo between napoLEON haze & dosIDOS I grow 11 seeds of this cross to make a good pheno hunt (9 Leonidos and 3 Lemonchello(x with nh4)) 7 seeds was female, 3 males and 1 hermaphrodite. Here are the pictures of the 7 plants right now... Leonidos #1 Leonidos #3 Leonidos #4 Leonidos #5 Leonidos #6 Lemochello #1 Lemochello #2 Next step is to find some keeper out of this run and create my own male. Have a nice day hunters!

  32. Hello everyone, First of all, as usual, I would like to thanks Green House Seeds, Strain Hunters and all the people handling this contest, you are doing an amazing job. This grow will be focused on Auto-Bomb (Green-O-Matic x Big Bang Auto) and Sweet Mango Auto (Mango x Big Bang Auto). Two different crosses of Big Bang Auto, I already grown it and I liked it, was a very fragranced fruity smoke. I’ll use a regular photoperiod for this grow even if they are autoflowering, so it will start at 18h/6h at 250W 6400K° CFL bulb, then still 18h/6h at 600W MH 5000K° bulb after 2 to 3 weeks, then when the first flowers are out 12h/12h at 600W HPS 2000K° bulb. I'll use BioBizz Light mix as soil in the pre veg/veg, then AllMix when I repot, and will start the feeding with Powder Feeding Short Flowering (same as Mostly Indica) after the pre veg. The stuff detail : Room : Germination/Clones/Pre veg/First veg weeks 60x60x100 250W CFL 6400K° Bulb Extractor 150mm 300m3/h Humidifier 2L Pots Room : Last veg weeks/Flowering 120x120x200 Digital Ballast Lumatek Dimmable 400W - 600W 600W MH 5000K° for the end of veg 600W HPS 2000K° for the flowering Prima Klima Extractor 160mm 820 m3/h + dimmer Prima Klima Carbon Filter 150 mm Humidifier 6L 7.5L Pots +Some fans So I selected 4x Auto-Bomb and 6x Sweet Mango Auto. 11-04-2013 - Day 1 : Soaked in PH 5.5 water for 24h. 12-04-2013 - Day 2 : In closed box with a wet coton for 24h (some are open already). 13-04-2013 - Day 3 : 100% Germination success. 19-04-2013 - Day 9 from seed : 250W CFL 6400K° 18h-6h Day : 24°C Night : 20°C Humidity 80% 27-04-2013 - Day 17 from seed : 250W CFL 6400K° 18h-6h Day : 24°C Night : 20°C Humidity 70% 04-05-2013 - Day 24 from seed : 600W MH 5000K° 18h-6h Day : 24°C Night : 20°C Humidity 60-65% Fed at PH 5.5 EC 1.5. The Sweet Mangos are a bit faster than the Auto Bombs. On the pictures, the 4 in front are Auto Bombs, the 6 other are Sweet Mangos. They begin to gain weight, smell so good already. 23-06-2013 - Day 74 from seed : Day : 25°C Night : 21°C Humidity 40% Temperatures are back to normal, I fed them at PH 6.5 EC 1.8 this week and until final flush. The smell is more and more present, Sweet Mangos are still faster than the Auto Bombs. But Auto Bombs got "longer" buds. The 3 last pictures are Auto Bomb buds, all the other are Sweet Mango. 30-06-2013 - Day 81 from seed : Day : 25°C Night : 22°C Humidity 35-40% I did the last feeding this week at PH 6.5 EC 1.8 and will now start the final flush for 7 to 15 days at PH 6.5 EC 1.3, then EC 1.0. The leaves start to turn yellow, the end is near 07-07-2013 - Day 88 from seed : Day : 28°C Night : 23°C Humidity 35-40% I flushed them at PH 6.5 EC 1.3 then PH 6.5 EC 1.0. The fastest SMA has been flushed for 8 to 9 days and harvested today. The rest will follow this week or next week end. Harvest : - Sweet Mango : SMA 1 - Day 88 from seed. SMA 2 - Day 90 from seed. SMA 3 - Day 90 from seed. SMA 4 - Day 92 from seed. SMA 5 - Day 94 from seed. SMA 6 - Day 95 from seed. - Auto-Bomb : AB 1 - Day 92 from seed. AB 2 - Day 94 from seed. AB 3 - Day 95 from seed. Dry Stuff : - Sweet Mango : - Auto-Bomb : Dry Weight : SMA 1 : 26g SMA 2 : 33g SMA 3 : 38g SMA 4 : 34g SMA 5 : 30g SMA 6 : 32g AB 1 : 24g AB 2 : 24g AB 3 : 26g Powder Feeding Leaflet : For those who don't have it, maybe it can help. Click on a picture, then you can save it. Tips : Some tips for Auto Bomb and Sweet Mango Auto strains : -Auto Bomb : I noticed they react better if you water them with "cold" water. Because if you water them with tempered water (like 22°c), they may have the leaves dropping down after watering. 7 to 10 more days would have slightly increase the yield. -Sweet Mango Auto : React very well on both cool and tempered water. If you cut the lower branches you will have a big main bud so they react well to this. (But not recommended on a Auto). Smoke Report / Effects : -Auto Bomb : Hits strong and relaxing in same time, good for daytime if you are stressed or for bedtime. Fruity candy smell and taste. -Sweet Mango Auto : Hits strong, long lasting, good for daytime/bedtime. The smell is complex, Mango and milky sour fruits. Taste is like sour fresh mango, very fruity. Thanks for watching. -Peace.

  34. I would like to outline some important considerations in regards to cannabis, the fact that unlike most all other recreational drugs, it is a high order plant which has complexities which are often not properly understood nor respected. With cocaine, leaves of the Coca plant are basically washed in a solvent extraction process and one gets cocaine hydrochloride salts. With Heroin, Papaver somniferum reaches basic maturity and releases resin from the seed pods, resin is not produced until ripe, then all the resin is the same, refine it and one has heroin. With LSD, precursor LSA is chemically altered to diethylamide from the amide lysergic acid precursor. Synthetic designer drugs are chemical compounds processed to derive certain molecules. Not much difference in the base to end product except for strength, most all drugs are the same thing, refined or synthetically created. But psychoactive cannabis is different. It goes through two main stages, vegetative, then flowering, most people know that, but, as a high order plant, it goes through many other stages from seedling to mature plant. In vegetative growth, it is a factory, not only building up the cellulose structure of the plant but in the first few weeks of life it goes through many stages of development into a hormone factory. Various ratios of hormones trigger the later flowering stages when light cycles decrease and dark cycles of the days from spring through summer create a phytochrome build-up. This triggers flowering at around 12/12 light/dark hours give or take an hour or two depending on the strain/hybrid stages when grown outdoors or when switched to a 12 hour photoperiod if under artificial light. From flowering cycle being triggered the plants then begin creating the psychoactive and non psychoactive compounds we know as THCs, the main delta complex and the plant creates significant amounts of terpines which are primarily associated with the distinct smells. These oxidise into terpinoids and together with the THC complex and CBD, create the full personality and effect of the highs or stones of whichever strain or hybrid the plants are, at point of maturity and to the genetic potential of whichever strain/hybrid the plants are. Basic THC Delta 9. http://www.answers.com/tetrahydrocannabinol Tetrahydrocannabivarin or Delta 6/THCv http://www.answers.com/topic/tetrahydrocannabivarin also oxidant, cannabivarin CBV http://www.answers.com/topic/cannabivarin Most people just think of THC, mainly delta 9 tetrahydrocannabinol, this is the stimulant THC we are all familiar with. Then there is another main one which over recent years more are becoming aware of, which is delta 6 tetrahydrocannabinol which is the more psychedelic factor found in equatorial and tropical sativa cultivars. THC D6 is found in all psychoactive cannabis but at higher levels in these strains and subsequent hybrids coming from the tropics and those plants whose ancestors come from high altitudes in lower latitudes such as the Hindu Kush and mountainous regions around Afghanistan and Pakistan, etc due to higher exposure to UVB spectrum in equatorial/topical and high altitude areas. THC D6 oxidises in maturity of the plants to CBV, which like CBD, tends to balance the effects of the THCv. The plants in vegetative stage, produce little THC D9, or any other psychoactive compound. Terpine levels are also low, it is when the plant factory becomes fully developed and phytochromes trigger the plants into bud production, that THC and terpines start being produced in abundance. CBD is produced later in the bud production cycle, the main flowering period, from shorter flowering indica to longer flowering sativa, the compounds which balance out the stimulant THC D9, which as we know is mainly CBD, but also CBV and a few others in conjunct, only appear later in the plants flowering cycle, as the earlier produced THCs and terpines oxidise to Terpenoids, prior to that, the plant produces mostly THCs and terpines are produced in order to protect the flowers, which are basically progenative ovaries to produce seeds to continue lifecycle of next generations. Institute of Psychiatry. In more recent times, there has been some attempt by the prohibitionist propagandists, to create a safer middle ground in their positions, part of this has been articles released by The Institute of Psychiatry regarding skunk, the deadly and evil super cannabis, supposedly. See this item, one of many showing how this is being used… http://www.mentalhealthcare.org.uk/cannabis This is so medicinal cannabis produced by extant pharma corps etc, products like Sativex etc, can be distinguished from this supposedly evil form of cannabis which makes everybody using it mentally deranged psychopaths. Because quite rightly, the ambiguity of these safe forms of cannabis the pharma corps are saying is safe, needs to be explained as to being different from the deadly cannabis recreational users are using and being made mental cases from, so now, there is apparently a clear dividing line. The skunk cannabis that the authorities are so concerned about has no, yes, they said no, asserted no CBD whatsoever, and of course, the medicinal forms all have CBD so it is relatively safe for pharma corps to provide as a medicament. But the truth is, skunk does have CBD, all psychoactive cannabis plants contain a level of CBD the same as all other compounds found in all plants, just at varying ratios, according to the potentials of whatever genetic template, whichever strain or hybrid is grown. When grown to maturity all cannabis has CBD. Even the most potent equatorial sativas which are renowned for being high THC/THCv, have a CBD ratio, when grown to maturity. So too does the supposed deadly evil skunk contain enough CBD, and other oxidised compounds such as CBV, to round off the stimulant effects of THCs, so while what they are stating regards CBD is perfectly true, the attempt to cite skunk as still being a main offender which causes, they do not state triggers but cite causality, is a nonsense, because all psychoactive strains without exception contain CBD and other oxidase stabilisers of THCs and the highs they provide, some lower, some higher CBD, but all do. In this regard, where they found negligible amounts or no CBD whatsoever in tested skunk plants, for those who understand how cannabis matures will know, it was immature skunk hybrid cannabis, and this brings me to my main points about “The importance of matured cannabis.â€. And the fact that The Institute of Psychiatry and those expounding their findings regards psychoses and little or no CBD content in cannabis have unwittingly provided a significant argument for a legalised climate so all cannabis meant for recreational and medical use and sale can be regulated and spot checked for maturity so the main consuming public do not use immature cannabis, because we understand CBD comes from the final stages of flowering cycle and CBD content is potentated by the curing process which allows further oxidation of THCs and terpines to terpenoids Final Stages of Flowering Cannabis Plants and Trichomes. As many will undoubtedly know, after the main vegetative growth stage and phytochromes trigger flowering and calyx production, from age 2-4 weeks from germination, which collectively are the buds. To protect the calyxes/seed ovaries, the plants produce capitate stalked trichomes… See picture here… And it is these which contain the main THC complex and as is generally accepted, presence of the trichomes and THCs are to protect the calyxes from harms from UVB radiation, the more UVB the plants are exposed to during flowering, the more profusely abundant the trichomes become and for the plant, were it to be pollinated and seed bearing, the trichomes act like a radiation shield for the seeds, of course we humans who want to smoke the buds do not require seeded buds, we desire seedless sensimilla bud, but trichomes are produced regardless as calyxes develop and mature. But until the plant reaches the final weeks of flowering, the main content are the THCs, terpines which are responsible for the increasingly powerful smells of whatever strain/hybrid they are, and have practically no CBD content and the terpines are still mainly smell and haven’t converted to terpenoids. THC D9 is a potent stimulant and if plants are cropped too early, any cannabis will have little or no CBD and will only provide a very stimulant high, whilst not every cannabis user finds this adverse, many do, it is well known that a lot of novice or infrequent users who use cannabis which is immature, as in, were one to look, the capitate trichomes would be all clear, not all cloudy/milky or with a good ratio of amber coloured trichomes, but clear as crystal, will have a paranoid reaction, become confused, they will have physiological experiences such as heart palpitations and some break out into a sweat from elevated physiologicals, some start to have panic attacks. The anecdotal evidences for the reactions people have to immature cannabis is all over cannabis community forums, of every country around the globe, especially on the cultivation forums, and that is where legislators need to go and look properly at what many academics involved with cultivation, many very experienced people who understand cannabis and the stages it goes through as a high order plant, so they can stop being guided by those who in comparison, have nothing but a basic and tenuous understanding of cannabis. They seem to think all cannabis is just cannabis, like an opium poppy is an opium poppy, cocaine hydrochloride is coke just as varying strengths but all the same drug, MDA/MDMA/MDEA and variants are just that, LSD is LSD so on so forth, they are all the same drug, but cannabis transitions through stages, where from around 4-5 weeks minimum or longer if vegetative stage is prolonged, leaves and developing buds from single calyxes at meristem internodes to the full bud masses have an increasing THC content, which rises as the number of calyxes increase into bud mass. They expand in size and stature to their full potential, whether pollinated/seeded and it is during the final weeks that early THC production in the trichomes on the leaves and buds increasingly start to oxidise and CBD and other high/stone stabilising oxidase are created. In the final weeks of growth, in most indica’s and indica dominant hybrids the flowering cycle lasts between 7-9 weeks if indoor cultivation, or as indicated calendar window during the opposite natural photoperiod to the new growth of spring and the plants mature in the early to late autumn as they are influenced in their stages by “photoperiodism†and are long day plants, whose maturity mechanisms are cryptochromic. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photoperiodism http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cryptochrome In sativa and sativa dominant hybrids, the flowering cycles can be anything from 7-8 weeks in a few early sativas to 14-26 weeks on some very stimulant and/or psychedelic cultivars and landrace strains. As is known, the vegetative stage indoor photoperiod mimics spring equinox, into summer solstice at 12/12 light/dark when veg’d enough and wanting to start flowering, and so if people cultivating for sale and wanting to hasten maturity, and actually wanted to bother, plants can easily be fooled into thinking the Autumn equinox is passing, winter solstice is nearing by giving the plants a longer dark period, to the same extents to using the spring photoperiod of 16/08 in the vegetative stage, as opposed to 24/00 vegetation, turning dark period up a couple of hours from 12/12 to a maximum of 08/16 but as much as 10/14 in the last few weeks is enough to hasten ripening by that last 10-14 days and so quicken the ambering, but so too does the grower need to be mindful of overshooting when speeding plants up like that as too amber %90+ is only good for cancer sufferer medication. So now we have the crux of my pro legalised industry arguments here, which the Institute of Psychiatry and those expounding on, have unwittingly validated. Because prohibition has led to a distinct lack of common knowledge in the regards I’ve outlined because it’s treated as a taboo subject and that is thus far very much an abstraction to what the entirety is, but main pertinencies are there. We have as I see it, a few different groupings of those who do not grow cannabis plants to mature, most not curing either, no disrespect meant to any cultivators who endeavour to the, plus/minus %30 amber average. The first, is commercial cultivators, aka, “cashcroppers†who are entirely focused on cultivating cannabis purely for profit and it is sad that many of these know damn well that there is a point of diminishing returns in the latter stages of development in the cannabis flowering cycle, where plants stop growing, they cease to put any more energy into increasing bud mass, which is weight, which is the saleable product after being dried, so many crop at that point, when the plant is pretty much at maximum weight for whichever commercial strain, they know this is a point when trichomes are mainly clear, depending on strain, clear into milky. Here’s another picture depicting trichome maturity stages… As you can see, emphasis is on yield, on the clear trichomes, but that also equates to completely raw THC D9 and totally stimulant with practically no other compounds present to round off the potent stimulant effects, then they state “cloudy†which is as they say the up and heady high, then the ambering, then they say about the mix of cloudy/amber. But as I say, at the point of diminishing returns, the plants will have pretty much reached their maximum bud mass and weight, with most commercial strains, trichomes will be clear mainly and a small ratio of cloudy, or milky as I prefer to say, and that means fully stimulant, with no oxidase terpenoids or CBD/CBV etc to round off the high, not to mention the full personality and indeed beneficial qualities medicinally speaking, are not present either, the majority of the active compounds derive from latter stages of oxidisation. It is at that stage, clear mainly, into milky, which makes a large amount of cannabis users feel paranoid and gives them adverse effects, and we all know, that paranoia, is a main psychological component in psychoses. Raw, un-oxidised THC, acts on the brain receptors, in a similar way to amphetamines and prolonged use of amphetamines does trigger psychosis, especially in conjunction with long periods of sleep deprivation. An effect of raw THC is it will deprive people of proper sleep because it over rev’s the brain and chemicals usually produced by the brain during sleep periods which induce dream state are not produced properly and this leads to the detrimental effects as the cumulative consequences of over stimulating neurochemicals takes hold and the brain essentially snaps and misfires more and more, so a psychotic episode, even if they do get their heads down for a few hours through fatigue, if they use a lot of unripe cannabis with raw THC, they will be unlikely to achieve REM states, and that in regards to potential psychosis, is what matters, waking up again after a brief sleep period without REM may restore some physical energy, but then frequent users of unripe cannabis will drink that coffee etc, have another wake and bake spliff etc, and so the REM deprived person goes on and on day after day until that snap occurs, that, is what can seriously cause a psychotic episode especially when stress factors like troubled relationships, or familial difficulties, money worries, employemnt difficulties, prolonged personality clash dynamics etc and for example, are present and serve as triggers. And drug induced sleep deprivation psychoses are what mental health agencies have been dealing with or mental conditions very similar to that, with many of those it does also go into other substances they are using but raw THC itself can do it alone, the compounded and detrimental effects when mixing other drugs with cannabis is another issue which I will articulate at a later stage. It is entirely true, CBD is anti-psychotic as much as is sedative, so plants with a decent ratio of CBD will do the exact opposite, it will allow the brain to achieve REM states properly and balance the stimulant THC D9 so the brain doesn’t ‘over rev’ too much. And that is where prohibition has been actively causing the mental health issues prohibitionists and concerned, misled public cite as reason to keep it prohibited, because a main group who cashcrop, do not allow plants to mature and develop CBD in any useful amounts. They will crop the plants when they stop putting on mass, dry it and sell it and that is usually a good two weeks before plants start oxidising and the trichomes go from milky into amber. The plants are a saleable product at that stage, they will get people high, but with many it’s too high, and it is a minority who will have badly adverse reactions in occasional use, a smaller group still who will use far too much every day and give themselves REM sleep deprivation psychosis. The group who have mental health issues from other causality who will have adverse reaction to raw THC, but those wholesaling such cannabis are basically ripping everybody off for the sake of getting an extra crop or two in every year, or getting it out of risk of detection by police as quickly as possible, or don’t actually know about cannabis having to mature. I accept this is as much a consequence of small clusters of smaller time growers to supply a small area in whatever regions and there are a few reasons, as I mentioned, but it is mainly cash croppers and we know simple S.E. Asian farmers are forced into tending crops by organised criminals, so I wouldn’t expect them to understand the niceties of cannabis growing. I’m sure as far as they are concerned, they grow the plants until they slow down then crop it so others can make the profits. Another way people can end up with unripe cannabis is by taking flowering period guidelines too seriously. If on a seed packet, it states 6 weeks, 7-8-9 weeks, it does not mean they flower them at 12/12 for exactly that amount of time and crop the plants, no, one has to check the maturation of the trichomes by using a loupe or macro function of a digital camera does the job, or snipping a small piece of bud off and putting it under a scope, but the guidelines for flowering period for a particular strain/hybrid are just that, guidelines, often stated as a little shorter to encourage people to buy them knowing hobby growers are looking for fast plants as much as cashcroppers want heaviest yields in as short a time possible. The number of weeks stated is usually a few weeks short of the reality. If they say 7 weeks on the packet you can be sure pretty much that the real number of weeks will be around 9-10 to have mature cannabis, at 7 weeks it will be at that clear into cloudy stage, no amber. This is why there needs to be a reform in cannabis law, to allow a legal and regulated market, with people who actually know how to grow it to maturity and care enough to do so. Regular checks of product being sold as to ratio of amber trichomes on sampled herb, which for general sale should be at %30 give or take %10 amber and medicinal users prefer %50-70 but the milky/cloudy with amber just a few percent visible should be offered. All three final stage ratios would be popular and much safer than those given immature weed with clear trichomes to use. I may like a bit of immature cannabis, many do, but too many people do have adverse reactions with unripe cannabis with raw THC and unless the consumer demographic knows they like it, they should only be sold cannabis which has matured to %30 (plus minus %10) with a choice of an earlier cropped product where trichomes are just about to turn amber, the clear and energetic high from milky trichomes is good when the trichomes are just starting to turn amber, up to %5. There is nothing wrong with people using cannabis with clear or milky trichomes if they state a preference, because not everybody will use it regularly enough to develop the potential mental heath issues with constant use of raw THC. Some are not prone to ill effect and suited to speedy highs and other stimulant drugs and indeed many like the very stimulant high it gives, but it should be as a preference, on request from regulated vendors or those hobby cultivating at their own risk, general consumption people should use herb cultivated when around %30 amber and **cured**. Curing allows for a further period of oxidation of active compounds and that is beneficial to a cannabis user on several levels. People also tend to use less if properly mature and well cured because the active compounds do everything they should do and is a superior high/stone than cannabis just cropped and dried for sale, very different to immature cannabis which tends to be a shorter lasting high and people use more as the brain tries to keep stimulated and this often leads the user to use too much, a common issue with speed actually and again a similarity between raw THC D9 and amphetamines. Curing is a necessary part of the process, something which is fast being forgotten in commercial weed terms. But unless everybody in the currently illegal climate, carries a jeweller’s loupe with them, demands to see the product first, checks to ensure it’s decently matured cannabis, and rejects it if not, those who rely on cannabis from street level, which is most people, whose dealers procure their supplies from exactly the cashcroppers in organised crime rings or clusters of small time growers ignorant to the importance of mature cannabis, or don’t care, then the mental health of a small, but significant amount of people will remain at risk. Whether it’s an equatorial sativa, or a skunk plant, or whatever, grown to a proper point of maturity, they will have a CBD ratio which lessens or completely negates risk of any psychoses in the user demographic of cannabis as much as the many other Oxidase stabilisers. Cannabis strains all have a balance at maturity which simply is not present in immature cannabis, even high ratio THC/THCv strains have that balance which lessens or negates risk of pyschoses, even though the CBD ratio may be low, nature has done a balancing trick, all have CBD without exception at maturity. As we know, some high CBD strains/hybrids can actually treat psychosis, not ruddy well cause it. It isn’t any nasty evil new high potency strain which is any problem, a mature skunk plant will have CBD. They tested skunk which was immature is all, whether that’s a manipulation of the research, so easily done just by harvesting a test group 10-14 days before it should do and saying that’s indicative of all cannabis of that strain, or whether it was samples of seizures by police. Whatever, the skunk they based the Institute of Psychiatry findings on, was not mature grown skunk, simple as that. It is an unregulated market in the hands of growers who don’t know or don’t care about the importance of allowing cannabis plants to mature properly, nor usually do they cure the product meant for general sale. There are many growers who do care, but then of course, decent people have had their grows demolished by police and they’ve been prosecuted just the same as any who are bad growers. So the cleverer organised crime suppliers to street level, the ones who do crop early because they care only about the money, stay at it while decent growers who would prefer to grow properly and offer people a quality and safer product, do not persist. So over the years and decades, inferior product which has more risk to mental health predominates the market, all caused because those who consider themselves knowledgeable on cannabis in governments and their advisors, don’t actually know that much about it and only see cannabis as cannabis, not the complex, high order plant which needs to be grown to full maturity. Just the same as some people aren’t suited to alcohol, some not suited to speed, coke or whatever, not everybody is suited to cannabis use, that’s a fact, but generally speaking, decent cannabis is a safer drug than any other. It just needs to be grown properly by people who care about end product and the customers, not greedy criminals who either don’t care or don’t have enough intelligence to know. Either way, this is just another main reason among many others, why there should be a proper regulated cannabis industry. Last but not least, unripe cannabis is often a waste of money for those requiring it as a pain relief, because CBD is what they need, as well as those wanting it for spasticity etc, etc, which requires CBD, won’t find it in street weed often enough, because the cultivation is in the hands of many organised crime cultivators. They don’t know or don’t care about offering a properly matured and cured end product, which has a full personality with anti carcinogenic effects so as much a prophylaxis to recreational users as any using medicinally, because only mature plants offer the whole package. The younger the plants are cropped, the worse it is for medicinal users and the more a minority are risking their mental health. I could expand layers of what i’ve written, go into things in much more detail, but you get my drift, as it were, so will leave it there for now. The only sane way to treat cannabis, is a proper regulated market out of the hands of organised crime cultivators and those who don’t know or don’t care about giving people a properly matured and cured product, because that immature product has risks to mental health from those not knowing about such considerations, as much as it sells the end user short because unripe cannabis and raw THC is an inferior high/stone to mature with all active compounds present, end of, nuff said. Thank you for reading. Peace. : )

  37. HEY! (This was written to help you get on the fast-track in this forum.) All you people lurking around in here only as Guest. Yeah, this means you. C'mon, register with us, man. We are busting our budz to preserve this plant and to document the how-to's and what work's. You are benefitting from it, but you aren't participating. Please join with StrainHunters. Register, create a rad User-Name, find a cool picture or graphic and use that as your Avatar. We could use your input, and if you have questions, we can help answer those questions, but only if you post the questions. You can post questions and open grow journals after you become registered. (Commit to your memory, or write it down, where you found this document. This document is found under "Browse", then "Introduce Yourself", then "Hey Guests Please Register!!!!! Quick Guide". I promise you that you will want to return to this document again for the Quick-Guide.) There is so much that you can do in here, but you cannot see it all, nor can you do it all if you are not registered. Examples: Guests cannot access the Chats. We have live chatrooms and private one-on-one chats that run in real time. Guests cannot post in the threads, nor upload pictures. Guests cannot participate in the new-strains seed-testing and nutrient-testing. That means that you will miss-out on the prizes that are awarded at the end of those testing contests. It has been my experience that StrainHunters announces a testing contest once or twice a year, so get registered and participate to show us that you can perform testing and that you can journalize your work. Here is a link to the registration page. When the page opens, just scroll down to begin the registration: http://forums.strainhunters.com/register/ When registering, don’t pull a stoner and forget your User-Name and Password. Write them down somewhere. You cannot get back in if you forget them. Exceptions: If you forget your password, you can click on "forgot my password", and then through a link sent to your email, you can re-set your password. Of course, in order for "forgot my password" to work for you, you DO have to remember your User-Name. If you have forgotten your User-Name, then you'll just have to re-register under a new User-Name. If you are lucky, you might find an old post from your earlier personality, thereby rediscovering your old User-Name, and THEN you can try using "forgot my password" to again establish access to your earlier self. If you have forgotten the password to your email, then maybe you're a little beyond my help. .. LOL After you get registered, you can accelerate your participation by following a few simple steps of this Quick-Guide: Step 1. Please, please, please, write your first Post in the Topic Area called "Introduce Yourself". To find this Area, click on the "Browse" at the top of nearly any page of the website, then click on the first category "Introduce Yourself". Then look to the right; find and click on "Start new Topic". Here you will enter the Title, of your first Topic, then scroll down a bit and write your Introduction. Other members will later respond to your Introduction as they "find" it. This first step is important to build your confidence and to ensure that you have found the basic initial controls necessary for further posting activities. After successfully posting your Introduction, do not wait for an answer. Trust me. Move on immediately to the next step. I promise you, when someones responds to your Intro, you will automatically receive a Notification, as you will see later. That means also, don't forget to return to StrainHunters.!!!! You will definitely have Mail here on your next visit. (OK, it might take a day or two sometimes.) But for now, go immediately to Step 2. Here, the fun REALLY begins. Step 2. While you are waiting for others to find your Intro, go ahead and get involved in active threads. Here's how: Again, click on "Browse" and notice that a row of subtitles will open directly under the Browse-Icon. To the far right is a subtitle called "Online Users". Click on "Online Users" and you will see a listing of the Members who are currently online to include the Threads or Areas where they were most recently active and the time that had passed since their last activity. HERE you will find Threads that are the MOST CURRENTLY ACTIVE. Click on one that interests you and read the Thread for a while. With time, you will begin to understand that other users are actually there, the most recent posts are always at the BOTTOM of the LAST page of each Thread. You can see the speed of the activity by remaining aware of the passage of time reported in each post. Be patient with yourself. Be aware that the posting-times do not update in real-time. Rather, they update ONLY each time that you click to post your comment or each time that you click to change a page. You will find that, before you realise it, you will be chatting and responding right along with us. In some threads, when there are 5 or 6 participants online at the same time, the discussion can be so fun or so fast that you cannot keep up. Or sometimes, the discussion will proceed at the tact of hourly or sometimes overnight. Or, the continuation of the discussion might simply be waiting on YOUR input. Step 3. There is so much more here to discover. The entire Index of Topics under "Browse" is a huge database of active and previous discussions that you may enjoy and enjoin at any time. The date of the latest response is always your clue as to how fresh the discussion is. But old dates do not mean that there is not something interesting there. These Topics are RICH historical archives of which YOU (or rather, your Avatar, are now a participant. Look also at how many Replies there are under the Individual Topics. The number of Replies sometimes indicates how interesting the subject was or is. If you want to see wonderful pictures of GROWS, look in the Indoor- and Outdoor Grow Journals. (There is also a Photo-Gallery Section for you to discover.) By the way, if you are currently growing, then by all means, open a journal in the Indoor- or Outdoor Journals Areas and show us how you are doing it. (Failed experiences are also appreciated. We also want to know what doesn't work as well.) As you will see later, normally only those members who can show good journalism techniques, photographs, and journals-to-completion may be chosen to participate in the New-Strains Testing or Nutrients Testing. We also have Grow Competitions or Photo Competitions that may result in Prizes or gifts being awarded. Again, participation acceptance is normally contingent upon previously demonstrated journalism in this forum. So get a grow journal started and completed soon. Step 4. If you wish to send someone a Personal message, click on their Avatar (their picture). This will open their Profile Page. Then click on "Message" in their Profile Page. If you want to "Follow" them, then click on "Follow" on their Profile Page. "Following" other Members is an exceptionally fast way to get involved. You will see that in your Notifications. Each new and interesting Member that you find. "Follow" them. Step 5. When others send you a Personal Message, it will appear as a Numeral at the top of the webpage over the "Message" Icon. When you receive a Notification, it will appear as a Numeral at the top of the webpage over the "Notifications" Icon. I am not a Robot, therefore I cannot always be online to greet you, but to your advantage, it is extremely rare to find no one in here. You will almost always find a new friend here with whom to chat or otherwise exchange information. When you do find ME here online in StrainHunters, I will be happy to give you further pointers and preference-settings to optimize your forum experience. Registering with StrainHunters will enable you to make friends AROUND THE WORLD who share your enthusiasm for Cannabis. Just do it! You’ll thank me later. Cannabissapean

  38. How to make Budder (QWISO) quick wash iso hash This artical was copied and pasted from grasscity "Hashmouf's Official Guides to Homemade Hash" {Step by Step Pictorials}Hello and welcome to Hashmouf's Official Guide To Making Quality "QWISO HASH" There are many different techniques used to make hash, today will we be making "QWISO HASH" often called "QWISO" for short. "QWISO" means = Quick Wash ISO, The Quick wash referring to the short amount of time that the trimmings will be in contact with the ISO better known as Isopropyl Alcohol, which is the solvent used to extract the Trichomes to make hash. As simple a technique this may be there are 3 golden rules to remember for optimal quality. 1. Quality trimmings or buds : The higher quality of trimmings equals the higher quality of hash 2. Proper equipment : The right tools make the extraction easier and preserve purity of the hash 3. Time and patience : By rushing the process you will lose quality and have a low grade hash OK so now that we have gone over the basics for making Quality QWISO lets go over the equipment list. 1. Well dried quality trimmings or buds. for this demonstration I will be using a quarter OZ. of some premium trimmings from my last harvest of Purple Princess. 2. Isopropyl Alcohol, I like to use 91% to prevent etraction of unwanted chlorophyll. 3. A large jar, I used an old pickle jar that was well cleaned. 4. Strainers, 1 large strainer will do but I prefer at least 2 for easier handling. For this I will use 3 for optimal purity. 5. 2 Coffee filters, I use 2 coffee filters doubled up to increase the purity of the extraction Here are some pics of the strainer filter assembly 6. A plate for pouring and evaporating your ISO extraction. Now we have listed all of our equipment, your work area should look like this. Once you have all of your equipment ready the QWISO making begins. Follow these 10 simple steps precisely and you will have Quality QWISO HASH every time. Step 1. Place Dried trimmings or buds in freezer for 30 minutes. Step 2. After your trimmings have been in the freezer for 30 minutes, Carefully transfer them into your jar. Step 3. Pour the Isopropyl Alcohol over the trimmings until completely covered. Step 4. allow to soak for 30 seconds, no more no less. Step 5. Shake as hard as you can for 30 seconds, no more no less. Step 6. Pour into strainer filter over evaporation plate and allow to fully drain Step 7. After you filter the extraction on to the evaporation plate, Carefully move to a safe place and position in front of a small fan allow to evaporate and dry by air for 24 hours minimum [NEVER USE HEAT FOR EVAPORATION !!!! this will lower the quality of your QWISO] Step 8. When the alcohol has evaporated and the extraction has fully dried for a minimum of 24 hours you are ready to harvest your QWISO HASH. Step 9. Once the QWISO is ready for harvest, Carefully use a razor blade to scrape the plate. Step 10. Top off a bowl or a blunt with some high quality QWISO HASH and enjoy !!!!!! SECOND WASH : If you have a high grade trimming with high trichome concentration a second wash is recommended. Even though the quality will be lower then the first wash the second wash will still produce a handsome reward. For a second wash place your trimmings back into the jar, cover with isopropyl alcohol and soak for 30 seconds then shake for 30 seconds. Repeat filtering process and let evaporate and dry for 24 hours minimum. After the evaporation and drying is complete harvest your second batch of QWISO. Here are some pis of my second wash of the same trimmings. Finally, a quality comparison from 3 different washes of the same herb. The first wash is on the left, the second in the middle, the third on the right. Thank you for vising Hashmouf's Official Guide to making Quality "QWISO HASH" Now go make some and get loaded !!!!!!!!

  41. Hi guys how are you? Well, I just want to share some pictures with you, since it make me really happy to be able to grow plants again after almost 3 years of forced layoff. The last time I grew outdoors my plants were taken away by the guardia civil in Spain and it took me more than 2 and half years to finnish with the issue. Off course 100% acquitted. Well, that´s it, I´m finally back and by the way it was almost 10 years that I grew plants in argentina the last time. The pictures are really shitty due to the fact that nor the camera or the cameraman are good. LOL GWS: 35 LTS. FINAL POT, HARVESTED ON MARCH 8TH., 9 WEEKS OF FLOWERING, AS CHARACTERISTIC OF THE STRAIN, REALLY EASY TO GROW DRY PRODUCTION 215 GR. CUT´S DAY : STRAWBERRY HAZE: FINAL POT 65LTS. HARVESTED ON MARCH 30TH. 10 WEEKS OF FLOWERING. REALLY RESISTANT TO FUNGI THAT GAVE ME NO TRUCE IN BUENOS AIRES, A REALLY HUMID CLIMATE FOR I WAS USED TO. IT SUFFERED, BUT HELD REALLY GOOD. DRY PRODUCTION 340 GR. CUT´S DAY : HAWAIIAN SNOW: FINAL POT 65LTS. HARVESTED ON MAY 4TH. 12 WEEKS OF FLOWERING. IT SUFFERED MORE THE FUNGI, BUT ANYWAYS IT HELD REALLY GOOD, IS NOT THE MOST SUITABLE PLANT FOR BS AS CLIMATE, IT ENDED GOING BLUE FOR THE COLD, FOR HARVEST DAYS WE WERE HAVING 10 DEGREES TEMP. DRY PRODUCTION 270 GR. CUT´S DAY : CHEERS FOR EVERYONE AND GOOD SMOKES

  43. Greetings family, I would give you a little trick, tip ... For better absorption of nutrients by the plants, it is advisable to pre-mix in a container such as a bottle, introduced in nutrients and water, stir and mix vigorously, then you add the rest of the irrigation water. If you use soilless systems such as NFT, aero systems ... is always positive using an oxygenation system in tanks of water to avoid precipitation of nutrients over time. Small details can make a difference, good luck in your crops! X .

  44. HERE WE GO AGAIN HUNTERS!!!!! We are LIVE from Toronto, Canada, for the 2013 edition of the Treating Yourself Expo. We arrived in Canada 2 days ago and we already had the chance to visit several local growops including some great rooms from the guys at Humber Valley Seeds (thanks and respect to my friend Kevin for the amazing tour!!!!!!). Check out my INSTAGRAM feed 2 @Franco_Strainhunter for some pics of the growrooms! Now the Expo just opened its doors and we are already busy talking to the growerws and the breeders, it is amazing to see how passionate people are about cannabis in this country. This is the biggest difference between North America and Europe. Here most growers are breedres. Here we see the results of over 30 years of micro-breeding and selection. Great strains, great buds, great people.

  47. Press Release – For Immediate Release Amsterdam, The Netherlands (April 16, 2012) – Cannabis entrepreneur Arjan Roskam takes Dutch state to court on charges of violation of the Dutch constitution. (Amsterdam) New proposals for anti-drug laws in The Netherlands call for restrictions being placed on who can buy cannabis in infamous Dutch coffee shops. The Dutch government is trying to set up a system that judges people by ethnicity and nationality in violation of the Dutch constitution. Far-right politicians have proposed legislation that would only allow Dutch residents to enter cannabis-selling coffee shops. This legislation would require Dutch residents to register as members of the cannabis-selling coffee shops and would prohibit any foreigners from becoming members. The membership system, also known as the “weed pass”, is not supported by any of the Amsterdam political parties besides the Christian Democratic Party. Together with a legal team of 4 well-known cannabis-business-branch lawyers, Arjan Roskam (a well-known cannabis entrepreneur) has decided to take the Dutch state to court, claiming the new legislation is a violation of the Dutch constitution. According to Roskam “the introduction of the weed-pass, and banning tourists from coffee shops would only be possible through local regulation on the grounds that the visitors of coffee shops create a public disturbance. The legislation as proposed by the Dutch state calls for a national ban on tourists in coffee shops, however if the local municipality is against the legislation it is not possible for the Dutch state to enforce such a ban.” Roskam continues to explain, “Artikel (or) Clause 1 of the Dutch constitution states that all that are in The Netherlands will be treated equally, discriminating based on religion, lifestyle, political views, race, gender on any ground is not allowed. For this reason, the national ban on tourists visiting coffeeshops would violate our constitutional rights here in the Netherlands by discriminating against foreigners.” Arjan Roskam and his legal team are scheduled for a court hearing on the 18th of April 2012 where they will challenge the Dutch state for violating the Dutch constitution.

  48. Thanks a lot to comment family!! Mopman, Tokage, Dust, Jose, Fuzzy!! Well, Tojage friend, I can tell you everything smelled something amazing, had plants all over, having to walk between them was like a bath of thc. When we got to the airport and just the smell was a problem, they came out the eyes, but never take anything up logically. The smell was impossible to remove from clothing. A funny situation at the end ... The quality of everything I could smoke was excellent, and the friendliness of local growers was great. Most importantly, the quality of the grass with our line of nutrients, Powder Feeding, has given great results. Also greeting the friend of "NCG" North Coast Growers, for sharing your wisdom and being such good people. A part of a grass and hash, first quality, really! Come up with some extra photos ... we still have a few ... hope you like! Saludos, X. .
