    Hello hunters! This week i have been flushing plants because they look little bit dark, but luckily nothing serious. Today i washed the reservoir tanks and added nutrient mixture again. Look like THC Bomb havent swell much. Plants doesnt drink much as they usually do, but that may cause from cold weather, 15c lights off and 22-23 with lights on. Hi all, Woohoo, it's competition time. I have received 10 x White Rhino seeds & GHS BIO powder feedings in good time and I'll be looking to germinate in January. 1.2m2 indoor grow starting off under 1 x 125w blue CFL (perhaps x 2) in a 60cmx60cmx90cm propagation tent. Mulling getting a MH for the rest of veg, else it will be that CFL plus 250w/400 of HPS. 600w/660w HPS for flower (new bulb). 428m3 extraction through carbon filter. Substrate: 70% Canna Coco (unfed, ie, not the Pro Plus) & 30% Perlite - so I can see how JUST the BIO feeds get on. Nutrients: Green House BIO feedings only - Water will be roof run off at a ppm of ~ 40 (ec 0.08) @ 23C. Containers: 1 litre / 11 litre / 46 litre I shall be topping early & LSTing to keep height down. Good luck everyone!

    Hi guys! I am writing from Spannabis, where today we are having a record number of visitors. This morning there were more than 1,500 people waiting first thing in the morning, plus all those who have joined throughout the day. As always, the internet connection here is not good, so I won't be able to share all the photos in the forums. But, I have uploaded them all (with a lot of patience) to our Facebook account: https://www.facebook.com/greenhouseseeds/ Besides, today we have a big surprise. At 4:20 begins the limited edition of the new genetics!!!! I will try to upload some photos of the fair in this post, if Internet allows me..... I hope you like them!

    So. It is finally time to start this new year with a decent grow journal. Thanking GreenHouseSeeds for giving me this amazing opportunity to test out their WhiteRhino strain, and their Bio Feeding Line of powder nutrients. As mentioned in the inscription post, this will be my equipment: - 4x 6500K 35W LED - 4x Full Spectrum 45W LED - The GreenHouseSeed bank BIO Feeding Line - A 60x60x170 SecretJardin Grow Tent - Airflow with one small fan, and 2 filtered extractors (IN and OUT) for 108m3/h. - 2 initial WhiteRhino seeds, 1 will be chosen and brought to flowering. - Pot sizes, varying from 1L, to 6L, to 11L, to 18L. - A scrog net (this will be my first scrog attempt, please be merciful) - A lot of love and joy doing this. And duct tape. And beer. I plan to increase light power with the increased growth. - 1° Week 70W - 2° Week 105W - 3°-5° Week 140W - 6°-7 Week 140W + 45W FS - 8°-12° Week 140W + 90W FS - Remaining Weeks at Maxium Light Output (140W + 180W FS) With this i want to simulate the increased output of the sun, transitioning from spring, to summer. At the end of Week 7 i'll perform the switch to 12-12. I also plan to feed the girls 6 weeks for VEG, and 8 Weeks for Bloom. I'll start feeding at week 4, when i transplant from 6L to the final pot (which i still need to decide between 11 and 18L). This is the current plan for the grow, that WILL be revised as i go on. I'm sharing it just to give an idea. I also tried to germinate one seed some days before the new year, but it popped the surface as a dead seed. The root grew (small), but the small plant never got rid of the seed shells (after 14 days). I started 2 new seeds, and am waiting for them to pop the surface. I will decide between the 2, who gets to stay. Below, some pics of the equipment: This is the light rack i've crafted. Pretty basic, huh? Pot sizes AND room space. The little white buddy on the bottom right is the dehumidifier, that will be turned on when i switch to 12-12. A special thanks to GreenHouseSeeds. You guys are amazing. Nothing left to say, till the girls pop the surface. Until then... Peace!

    Drying process is finally over: buds snapped easily from branches. I've divided them in 3 bottles: - Popcorn buds - Side colas - Main colas with the last 2 bottles sharing the same branches, meaning the side colas are actually the smaller flowers of the main colas. As for the weigh: keeping a precision weigh in the house means you're a dealer. It's the first item cops will look for (after seeing plants). If i'll ever be busted, at least they don't have the exuse to say: he's got the p.w., he's a dealer. FYI, i'm not. I grow for personal consumption ONLY. Either way, i had to use a more rustic version: the pasta weigh! Pics for your eyes: Now, the weighs. Popcorn buds (23g): Side Colas (36g): Main Colas (36g): Highlander: I'll see you all in 2-3 weeks, when the buds are going to be well-cured, for a smell/taste report, and to end this Journal. What a journey, it has been. Cheers! EDIT: Forgot to add final weighs. Overall, Highlander produced 95 grams of dried buds. Over 320 W (which i still need to test at the wall for real power consumption) 95g are 0.296 GPW, which isn't bad considering i've been using a horrible homemade setup of 8 led e27 lamps. And i'm quite surprised by this amount, i thought i wouldn't reach 80 (0.25) and that i maybe would have harvested around 60g. Now i'm just hoping they improve drastically in smell and taste. BTW, the little joint in the half-coconut was from all the leftovers of branches and snapped buds. Had the first taste of it yesterday: i went to sleep at 10 PM. That shit is absurdly strong.

    Today is the 20th of April 4/20 I though it would be a good day to get the ball rolling and jump into the ring and get started on my journal for the 3rd Mega Contest for my outdoor run I will also be doing an indoor run once the Sweet Mangos finish at the end of May and my tent is empty. I am hoping to do 2 over lapping runs outdoor this season, the second starting once the first 2 plants have been in flower 1 month. Here is some information about this first part of the outdoor grow. So I decided to use them outside too and I ordered 4 16 litre root pouches which should arrive on Wednesday ready to be brought into play. This morning I put two of the Sweet Valley Kush beans into a little glass of water and I am waiting for them to sink. More updates to follow soon, good luck everyone and happy growing... This morning at 6.30am when I switched on the fluorescent tubes it was very dull and cloudy and the temperature in the shed was about 16C. By about 9.00am the temperature inside the shed was about 18C and it was now raining outside, but it was warm with a gentle breeze. When I checked on the plants at around 12.00pm the temperature was 20C Here are some images of the plants I took tonight before I switched off the lights just before it went dark. Both of the Sweet Valley Kush plants under fluorescent light. Evening temperature in the shed 22C Sweet Valley Kush B#1 foliage side view. Sweet Valley Kush B#2 foliage side view. Tomorrow the weather will definitely be better than today it looks like we will get some sunshine and the rest of the week is looking good. Happy growing...

    Progress 😍😍 Below The Doctor that was not dug up by an animal, and a new The Doctor just germinated and put straight into a pot. I left the plastic top off as I won't see it for 5 days and figured it would grow to tall and hit the plastic. Below is the tall The Doctor seemingly very happy by the river in the nettles. A bit of twisting on a few older fan leaves but the newer leaves look great. Happy Growing!

    Hello Hunters, Grow + 10 Here are some news of the Sweet Valley Kush... I watering again with 100ml of pure water today. The plant growing well - Day Temperature : 22-23c° Day Humidity : 50-55% - Night Temperature : 17-18c Night humidity : 55-60% So here are the pics of today, day 10 of grow For the next watering I would put the first amendements in the soil with 1/2 dose of GH BioGrow. (2,2gr / plant). And I would water the plants with Ehancer. (1gr / liter of water). I can say now that this grow is the begining of a big project that i will make for long time now, a breeding project. I will selected the 2-3 phenos of the SweetValleyKush that i like more for a second run. After this second run I will only keep 1, the pheno that I would prefer of the 2-3 selected in the first run. And I would keep this pheno in mother plant. After that i will use this pheno to cross with a Di Futti Male from Karma Genetics. Di Frutti is Strawberry Guava from Oni seeds x with the Headbanger from Karma. Have a nice week hunters and see you for the next uptade!

    Hello Hunters, We are on the last day of March and as agreed, the grow for this can finally begin! I can not wait to see what GH Sweet Valley Kush has in her stomach. I will use the greenhouse germination technique as shown below. Saturday 30.03.19 I soaked in water (at 22°c) 10 seeds of GH Sweet Valley Kush for 9 hours. I then I put them on the paper towel and between two plates as explained by greenhouse. So here we are on 31.03.19 with 10 little seeds of this promising new variety "GH Sweet Valley Kush" ! When they have sprouted. I plan to transplant the seeds of GH Sweet Valley Kush in pots of 1ltr and in a home mix substrat composed of 50% Coco Plagron, 25% Mills lightmix, 25% Promix Plagron and some GH Powder Feeding BioGrow. But it is already the next stage ... So have a nice sunday Hunters and see you for the next update...

    Hello! I start a culture under LED light, to avoid excessive heat in summer. It's the first time I've used an Autopot system, so it'll be very interesting for me, everything is new. So far, I have prepared the substrate (coconut and 50% perlite). In the bottom of the pot, I put some arlite to improve the drainage. And so that the coconut is not constantly in contact with the water, in some way, to avoid areas with excess water. Let's go see it That blue thing, it's an Air Dome, a system that supposedly injects air into the roots, so they're more oxygenated. I don't know if it works well, it's the first time I've used it. There is a tube (you can see it in the picture) that is connected to a small air pump. The Autopot system is still not working. So the first waterings will be manual, with a shower as usual. When the plants show the roots they will colonize the pot, then the Autopot will start to work. I put in four different varieties of Green House. Can you guess one of them? Cheers

    Day 116, aka day 57 flowering. Beginning week 9, update time. Before the start of week 8, i proceeded with what i claimed to be the "last" defoliation before harvest. Well, this defolation has worked out so perfectly i decided to do another one. After defoliation, i've seen no stress. Instead, buds have thickened even more, as i was expecting. So, i've decided to remove almost all the fan leaves covering the lower buds, leaving the ones not doing so. Now, about the harvest date. As of now, i've set the harvest date to May 12/13. Yet, i'm convinced i'll harvest her this saturday: Pistils are 90% orange. Trichomes on leaves are 90% amber, while the ones on buds are 50% amber. I believe that leaving her too much would cause production of CBN and deterioration of THC, other than the plant to be "medically" dead. So.. This is the situation as i'm writing this. Highlander's Canopy: Highlander's structure: Highlander's fattest cola: Highlander's Flower Close-Up: I'll see you all in 2-3 days for, hopefully, harvest day! Cheers!

    Hello friends, Back with some updates and pictures from my plants... We are today day 83 and we're on the 7th week of flowering... Not a lot to say... buds continue their developement (theys swell) as well, and now all the plants are on the last stage. Once again I've to say that I'm really happy to GHSC Feeding bio product range... really nice result ! So here we go for the 10 last days before start cutting and cleaning the plants (I don't have other choice than do that on few days... if I can do 1 or 2 plants daily that should be great...) Have a great week-end ! Cheers & respect ! Evolution6666 Day 83 (Week 7 of flowering);

    Yea it is getting crowded in there having abit trouble with the humidity, but i think/hope it will work out. Those pictures are week5 and these here are end of week 6. I moved the pots around in there so the position is different in these photos. I think i will go for 9weeks total flowering and only flushing last week(7days). I think about adding another light for these last few week - would you go with the blurple LED or the yellowish HPS?

    Hello fellow farmers/competitors/watchers, Tap root a little longer, but not much so wondering if was too moist. So, I've planted them. They're now in 1l pots with the pre-prepared Canna Coco Coir Natural & Greenhouse Feeding Enhancer. The pots have not been watered and the media is nice and fluffy with a little moisture in it but really not much. They're now in a 28c environment and I shall attempt to keep humidity very high initially of course. Happy Growing!

    Hello cannabica family, I will explain a bit the culture medium and the work plan that I will carry in this crop. First the growth room will be this and the White Rhino will be accompanied by other varieties (I will not go into details if they can not give us the grapes hahaha) with which until the flowering will be in this room and flowering will incorporate two more 600W bulbs In the photo you see many plants but most will be discarded since I am selecting and looking for good mothers. The photo growth period will be 20/4 since I've been working with it for several years and it's going great. The lighting will be of HM and HPS in the same growth / flowering site since there will be three bulbs, the lateral HPS and that of the medium HM is a method that we are studying for a while. The culture medium will be on land and with the bio fertilizers that the bank has given us, so thank you very much for the attention provided Finally, for the prevention of pests and diseases, I will use the propolix that you have been using from the first day of cultivation at low doses. With this I finish and tell you that everything is already underway so I hope you like it PS: any help or comment is appreciated as I am not a professional and I love hosting new ideas Greetings and luck Arrankeddj

    Hi all! Finally i can post from cellphone. The grow is complete now. There was some problems with thiefs and neighbords but the.cxww is now at glass jars. Production and resin is superb. While curing i could say that it has a mix of widow and almost rotten cheese, and the effects are so strong and almost psychadelic. Now its time to let them cure. See you all in a few weeks for.the smoke/vape report.

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
