Hello! I start a culture under LED light, to avoid excessive heat in summer. It's the first time I've used an Autopot system, so it'll be very interesting for me, everything is new. So far, I have prepared the substrate (coconut and 50% perlite). In the bottom of the pot, I put some arlite to improve the drainage. And so that the coconut is not constantly in contact with the water, in some way, to avoid areas with excess water. Let's go see it That blue thing, it's an Air Dome, a system that supposedly injects air into the roots, so they're more oxygenated. I don't know if it works well, it's the first time I've used it. There is a tube (you can see it in the picture) that is connected to a small air pump. The Autopot system is still not working. So the first waterings will be manual, with a shower as usual. When the plants show the roots they will colonize the pot, then the Autopot will start to work. I put in four different varieties of Green House. Can you guess one of them? Cheers

Hello again, So the second plant I've cutted and clened today is the second one on 15L pot... the one I've placed on my second grow box on 400w HPS and who received more light from the bottom to the top. And the result is pretty cool, lot of fat buds really sticky. Here we go with few pictures 2... Not the same level of yield than the 3 biggers of my plant but happy with these 2 harvest of today.... See you tomorrow for for the last one. Cheers & salute friends ! Evolution666 Harvest plant 5 (15L pot)

So here is the first one, the last in 40L pot... more small than the 2 others, can't explain why but she grow differently... more compact so the buds don't have inlfate perfectly... but still a good plant anyway... and have taked some hours to do it. So here we go with few pictures... Harvest plant 4: (40L pot)

Cream Caramel, really fits her name and personality. Ideal to smoke under flower form, but also perfect as resin or cream, such as the finest Malana cream.

The family today (Day 33[Bi] to 29 of flowering): Tri: Bi: M: 3: Their daylight now starts at 3pm. Just a few more shuffles to go before I decide on either a 6 or 7pm start for them, to cope with any hot days that may come before the 1/6/18 harvest deadline. All plants are just being fed Bi & Tri's slurry, ie, their run off, diluted down to a respectable ppm. Remember, Tri and Bi where the only ones to be given BioBloom. It's remarkable that their run off (which I suspect is packed with soluble PK) is feeding those plants and two others (M & 3) as there are no signs of deficiencies. Happy Growing!

Hello! Well, it's quite simple actually, a couple of Cree CXB3590 (COB) lights for a small growroom size (60x60). I am using GH Feeding in the diet, but in the future (in future crops) I also want to try organic food (bio feeding) in autopot. I will leave a little suspense, with the genetics hehe Cheers!!

Hi mate, Until the plant is about a month old, irrigation is traditional (surface watering), so I want some drainage. When Autopot is running (when the plant has developed the root well), it is important to me that the coconut is not in permanent contact with the water, because the sponge effect will cause it to absorb too much water. That's why a little drainage will also be good. Well, these are the conclusions obtained by friends who already use this system, they have given me some good advice hehe Yeah!!! One of them is Super Lemon Haze, my favorite, any options for the remaining three?

Hi @g22, Nice idea to start a other one for outdoor... When I've germinated my seeds back in february I've done the work for 7 plants and have used only 6 for the contest in my indoor box (because I don't have enough space for 7) so I've gived the last plant to a friend who was running a autoflow indoor session till mid-april and have keep her as veg... Now he have moved the plant to a outdoor greenhouse... will probably a real monster in size... will check his evolution soon and will maybe post about it 2. Sure this plant will be cool to grow outside... So good luck with this new project bro. Cheers & respect !

Beautiful buds, man! Maybe they have grown a different shape because White Rhino is still a Hybrid. It's still possible for minor variations to occur. Instead of being Indica dominant, maybe that plant had more sativa in her "blood" than we thought.. Maybe taste is going to differ too.. That's cool man! Well done, that's going to last you a long time :3 Peace!

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
