  1. EC was 1.8 like the grow videos, but i dropped it 1.1, and im switching the solution out every 3 days. going half strength nutes. flora series plus fox farms beastie bloomz. next week im going to flush the plant and switch to cha ching.
  2. day 35 of flowering today. so, end of week 5, beginning of week 6
  3. ah! finally figured it out. been meaning to change the title after i calmed down from finding the sacks.
  4. very nice. i hope my doctor turns out to be that second phenotype thats a massive cola. do yours smell? i can only smell the plant if i touch it and smell my fingers. thought that was strange.
  5. the pollen sacks arent that big of a deal now. i freaked out because no one likes seeing male sex organs on anything lol im 29 days in flower right now. pH 5.5 EC 1.8
  6. this is my first hydro grow, and i didnt have an EC/PPM meter until a week or 2 ago. my EC was WAY too high, so thats the only stress factor i could think of happening. now that i have a truncheon EC/PPM meter, i feel a lot more comfortable. i have way more control. i picked off every pollen sack i could find. they popped up over night, so they didnt have time to fill up with pollen. i probably missed some, but i did what i could. i only have 2 plants going right now, and the doctor is too big and ridiculous and healthy to get rid of just because it threw out some pollen sacks.
  7. 26 days into flowering today and my nice bushy doctor plant has a bunch of flowers, and now a BUNCH of pollen sacks. im not happy.
  8. i have 1 "doctor" that is 50 days old today, and 11 days into flowering. no pistils yet. i got the seed in march, so i hope it has the flowering problem worked out! this plant exploded on me lol. first time with hydro, this plant is really amazing!!!

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
