  4. i got a whole lot of good stuff which has been dried out in the sun (a african tradtional way i believe) no curing so it smells like hay, unless i put it up to my nose it has a strong sweet smell. its an incredibly strong sativa high, quite long lastting for sativa. is there anything i could do or make out of it to improve the taste/ flavor?

  7. thanks scorro, ive got qualifications for Arc, TIG, MIG, and oxyacetaline. i got these in Zimbabwe lol, i know i can defnitaly get a job in the UK and Australia with these qualifications, but it might be different for Netherlands ill have to try find out somehow. did you do coded welding tests? what is a welding job like in the Netherlands? hard? pay enough to keep a roof over your head lol?
  8. That looks good can anyone tell me why all the malawi gold you get here in zimbabwe is fucking shit shaky brown stuff with seeds ??? its very easy to find here but its not like that lol. Maybe they leave it in the cob or the sun too long?
  9. Thanks for the info dust it doesnt nessacarliy have to be a job in the cannabis industry (although i would prefer it to be haha, but im not an expert grower by any means lol) just are jobs in genral difficult to get? Working in the stockfeed industry at the moment and am also a qualified welder so i can look into that when i visit. Love barcelona so might look in to that too, although a couple friends a lived there before and they say its tough, but what country isnt tough these days lol?
  10. anyone here know how easy/difficult it is to get a job and live in amsterdam? any info would be great lol defintaly consider an option in the nxt few years am planning on visiting for 1 or 2 weeks in june with a couple buddies, so atleast ill get a good idea of what it like

  12. awesome pics jay+lyn ZA are those grown in your garden?? could never get away with that for long here in zimbabwe lol any pics of dried and cured buds? just intrested to see im sure theres some people on here who could help you out
  13. went on a mini expedition today to the spot where i get stuff, its maybe half the distance to binga, exactly 420km there abd 420 back funnily enough(about 11 hours of straight driving) unfortunetly wasnt able to see any plants but got a shitload of good african ganja will try to post pics
  14. i doubt many people have actually smoked true zimbabwean landrace since almost 80 percent( could be wrong but its extremely diffiuclt in Harare to find unless you have very good contacts) of the weed you buy on the streets here is lowest quality shit imported from Malawi or Mozambique (dried out brown shaky weed with many seeds), all imoprted in bulk by big drug dealers, police etc just to make as much money as possible. But if you travel to the more rural cutraul areas where there is no police you will find some big fields of sativa in a very humind climate. i have heard the best stuff you get here is grown in Binga a town just of the edge of lake Kariba where the Tonga people have grown and smoked it tradionally for years(just do some googling to find out more). unfortunalty have never had the chance to go there but hope to go sometime soon. if you do happen find well grown weed here its usaully a very strong sweet smelling sativa with a heavy high.

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
