  1. Brothers I suffer thus problem on every grow I'm not sure wtf it is but it's do I g my head in. I use of perfect base nutes nothing else Ph 5.6 E.C 0.2 Room temp 21°C
  2. So I'm using cal-mag and voodoo juice and have great results no more of the brown spots. I'm going to add a phosphorus additive during the flowering stage as this seems to be what everyone is saying.
  3. Yeah am using Ph perfect by AN base nutes only ph regulated.
  4. Yo brother can you change the font colour to yellow or white. I have a grow prob posted in the infirmary.
  5. Any ideas Dust ?
  6. So what's he latest with these LED lights then?
  7. Hang in there give it time (even when you're up against it) I had a very similar issue very recently but it's all going good and I'm nearly done. Don't panic
  8. They look fine bro just give it time.
  9. Looking good do far good job, what size is you grow room/area?
  10. The smoke was good. I live in the Scottish Highlands and our water here is soft I've never used cal/mag before so will give this a go with future grows, I will also go with a lower E.C value also. I expect plants would thrive in a 1000w lighting condition but I use 400w for the space I have. IIRC the leaves were crispy that were showing deficiencies. All the info has made good reading and thanks for the replies.
  11. Brothers and sisters I wouldn't usually bother yous with this and do the usual flush routine (due tomorrow) I would like to deal with this promptly and I've been away with work the last week and came home to What you see in the picture E.C 1.97 PH 5.7 Temp 22deg
  12. Do you use any additives on top of your 3part
  13. E.C from tap is 0.03 just checked it.
  14. Water ph out the tap is 6.9 No added calcium Less EC and the leaves get much lighter showing nitrogen deficiencies I'm due a flush and water change tomorrow and the drying up period to really boost the plants I'm using AN Part A&B flower ph perfect
  15. Ok brothers and sisters I'd like to read your thoughts in detail on the last 2 weeks of your grow Ec values = Ph values = Medium = Flush with = Feed used =
  16. Good man just the info I am looking for. Thanks
  17. Some of my white widow
  18. A little pic of a bud. Almost there.
  19. Hi Brothers & Sisters I have decided to do another SSH from GHSC, i love this starin and have had nothing but success with it in the past. I'll be using a 100w LED COB style for the grow cycle on 18/6hr with a Wilma Big 4 Pot System. 400W HPS for the flowering stage GHSC Long Feed Clay pebbles for the medium Tri-meter to keep an eye on Ph, Temp & nutrient levels In-line extract fan with carbon filter Small desk fan Tubular heater and room stat to help stabilize temps Aero-pot for the early growth after germination Currently germinating been 2days since adding seeds to tap water Ph6.9, I have never germinated in Ph5.5 More updates will follow in a couple of days or maybe sooner.
  20. So not much has been happening with the girls although I made a mistake I've never made before. I have not planted the seed deep enough after germination. But hey I'll make it work.
  21. Hi Brothers No there's no seed there and yes it require a few more weeks from the date of the post. I have just done a water change nutrient free with half the normal water level to ensure the roots get even more air. I've never done this before (reduced water) so it will be interesting to see how it goes. The buds are nice and firm and trichomes are milky.
  22. I've only ever grown GHSC
  23. Welcome back I too have been away for a while but back again. Always good to see good people who come back.
  24. Here's the first home of SSH
  25. Ok, heres what i have done in the past with hydro & DWC (current). To be fair its easy to maintain your water values at a plants first growing stage. Make sure you have your Ph5.5, light on a timer, air on 24/7, and monitor your E.C values. I have had plants do fine with no nutrients for the first few weeks of the grow and only found PH values jumping around as the plant really matured. I have only changed my DWC water twice this grow due to just being lazy.

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
