  1. hey are the strains kalishanova and white russian about the same, what is the real difference genetically or any other specifics any info is helpful, thanks
  2. i was read that hemp has practically no thc, so it's very low but high in many other cannabinoids and also that ruderalis is not to high in it's levels of thc but abundantly higher in it's levels of cannabinoids as well. so it would seem for a good medical strain one would breed hemp to ruderalis then breed the hybridized to a cannabis such as white widow or white rhino what do you guys think.
  3. how about going to Mexico in search of the many mexican landraces
  4. my favorite strain hunter episodes are the one in morocco and in india, if i ever went there i would definately want to have a tour guide to show me around,it's a shame that their strains are no longer pure but mixed, i am curious with the seed collections they got on these two trips did they create any new genetics
  5. i thought it was out, other day on youtube i watched an episode where they went and there was a state of emergency declared and also there were bobo shanti rastafarians
  6. maybe one day they will be able too like other seed companies, but for now i think there are seed banks that ship united states and sell their seeds for them
  7. germinating the church only took 2 days for me, they seem to be a strong little seed that pops pretty fast
  8. very nice grow they are looking good, i think the afgooies have great potential, are these pure or hybrid afgoo, i seen a lot are only available only as clone
  9. i heard when using dry ice you should turn all lights off so the h20 don't burn down, but i think this idea works if you don't have a air tank and regulator, i have heard water, sugar and yeast work good too for generating raw h20
  10. kazakhstan would be the ideal place to go.
  11. A trip for the gene responsible for auto flowering, yes I'm talking about hunting for landrace Ruderallis in somewhere like Russia or around that area.
  12. Thanks, I will. As for lighting still in the vegetation cycle, I go 16 hours on and 8 hours off 16/8 For the water cycle I water every 3-4 days of purified bottled water And the types of nutrients I feed (nothing fancy) I give liquid fish fertilizer, liquid kelp fertilizer, b1 and when feeding with these I mix 1-2 teaspoons in a gallon of water and feed, for me the 1 gallon mixture is enough to divide equally and feed all 3 of my plants then on top of that I give my plants about 16 ounces of pure water. I only feed/water when top soil half finger length is dry and this method seems to work good so far The temps I use are 80-91 Fahrenheit which is a little warm but they are trained to it so do good and the humidity I keep at about 45% Night temps I let it drop to a cool 71 Fahrenheit
  13. oh i remember now haha i have fimmed my plants and lollipop them as well, i been repeating fim (fuck i missed) on new growth every week just to get them trained right
  14. ha yeah tell me about it loll, i bought that tank and never used it till now oh thanks but looks like the soap did the trick, i repeated it for two days and no more problems so far. you know i was going to say something but completely forgot what it was LOL

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
