  1. Yeah, that would be a quick way to seed hell, if there were males around!! I'm thinking that as they walk on the flowers they will collect trichomes and bring them back to the hive, but I'm not sure. I know that some cultures collect the honey that bees make from flowers which are poisonous to humans. A few teaspoons and you are so "drunk" you can't even walk. I know that certain flavors are infused into the honey like clover and wildflowers, etc. I guess I will find out this summer. I will document it and take pictures to share with everybody if it works.
  2. Frustrated... trying to find reputable seed bank that will ship to U.S.

  3. Thanks for the warm welcome Jose and Dust! Huge fan of Strain Hunters... I had no idea there were cultures around the world that depend on cannabis to survive. Also, I did not know there was so much wild cannabis growing everywhere (except the U.S.A.). I plan on changing that! Hill Climb is rad... I've been 8 times in the past 10 years. Last year was the first year it was 100% paved... Loeb beat the old record by just under two minutes! Check out his POV video here, it is NASTY!! I guess I cant post links yet... if you want to see it look at the Red Bull Channel on YouTube or search "Loeb 2013 POV". You should definitely come out for the race; it is one of a kind. Plus, cannabis is legal here for recreational use; there are SO many growers it is actually funny. People you would have NEVER seen growing or even smoking a few years ago now have greenhouses and gardens. Well, I look forward to spending a lot of time here... TTYS.
  4. Has anybody ever had a cannabis field large enough to support a hive of honey bees? Wondering if the honey will contain any THC? If anybody has any information I would appreciate it... like how many plants can a hive handle?
  5. Hello everybody! Long-time grower and activist, former MMJ dispensary owner. I've been growing indoors and outdoors since I was 15... in my 30s now. I have definitely done my part to legalize cannabis here in Colorado but got burned-out by the greedy politicians trying to make money off medicine. Now it's legal for recreational use and I don't mind the taxes on this as much as I did having to tax the sick and disabled. I've been off the radar for a couple years now... this summer I will be growing ........ .. ...... .... . Looking for some local help with genetics since Greenhouse Seeds won't ship to the U.S.. Interested in auto-flowers but skeptical because they sound too good to be true. Since I am at about 2200m above sea level I am looking for some Afghani strains so I can harvest before the snows in October. Would like to connect with other growers in the Pikes Peak area.

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
