  1. I also was wondering if you used any dolomite lime when you made your soil ? or put your mix in the holes ? dolomite lime will keep your ph stable through out the season .. there is a chance you could pick some up and maybe put a small amount around the ladies .. not much but very little lets first give it a few days and see what happens after you try to raise your ph to about a 6.7 ~Bgb
  2. hello mate, i think you have a problem and we need to fix it ! your plants seem to be suffering from a magnesium deficiency, Magnesium gets locked out of soil growing at ph levels of 2.0-6.4. Magnesium is absorbed best in soil at a ph level of 6.5-9.1 .. i do not reccamend though that you have your ph over a 7 at the most I am guessing on this right now though as i really need a closer picture of the leaf .. would like a macro shot that i can zoom into very close to look at .. you could be having nutrient lockout as your holes do not seem to be big enough and you also planted into your yard it seems .. so the soil im sure around the small amount of soil you put in the holes for the plants is very hard and the roots have already gone much past your holes you dug and into the area of dirt that was already there .. im sure it is got clay in it which plants do not breath in .. i think your roots are screaming and gasping for air at this point .. i am trying to think of a way that you can air the soil so the roots can breath like i said i am not sure yet on the magnesium deficiency as it could be a phosphorus, potassium, calcium, zinc, iron, sulfur, manganese, boron or even over watering , under watering , heat are you foliar feeding with anything ? can you please pick up a ph meter and a decent one as if we can find out your ph we really can tell you exactly what is wrong most lickley .. without knowing your ph its hard to give a good answer as yes you could have magnesium deficiency but why ? is it because the roots are not breathing ? or is it because the plant is using alote of this ? here are some things you can do to raise and lower your ph .. this would be used once you know what your ph is at which you really do need to figure out . Blood meal, Dried blood, Guanos, Kelp meal, Cotton seed meal, Peat moss, sulfur and fish meal are all acidic and can bring your ph down so if you add these please keep an eye on your ph to make sure you do not go to low Bone meal, Rock phosphate, Wood ashes ( pretty much all ashes ) , Shellfish compost and crap meal are all alkaline and can make your ph go up, if you do use any of these like i said before keep a eye on it so you dont bring it up to much I personally always used a seafood kelp spray .. i would recamend starting to use a foliar spray once a week .. if you are having lock out in roots you can atleast get nutrients to your plants through the leaves .. but for only so long as once your roots start dying from not being able to breath you will get lockout on the leaves as all the breathing holes will close and then there is not much to do I am sorry .. i noticed now that you did check your ph and it is at a 6 .. so magnesium is probley one of your problems along with the soil not being airated enough ... read though what i wrote and raise your ph first .. when you make a foliar spray and mix in water start off with 1/4 strength and see what happens .. we will go from there .. i will think of a way to help loosen soil without shocking plants to much i hope this helps you out and we can make sure you ladies stay happy ~Bgb

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
