  1. Could be a nutrient deficiancy, not enough P or K in flower. Or it could be that your grow room is getting too warm, or not a powerful enough light. Number of things, what's your setup like? How long does your strain take to flower? What strain are you growing?
  2. Tough question, my personal favorite, platinum girl scout cookies I grew last year from clone, (light dep). But I love my og kush, San Fernando valley og kush is remarkable. Never was too much into the fruity weeds or the sativas, I want my strong earthy gassy hybrids or indicas.
  3. Aspiring doctor Peter Hadley (Jeremy Strong) gets the shock of his life when his hard-nosed father (Peter Bogdanovich) -- and medical-school professor -- fails him, invalidating his acceptance to an elite residency program. His long-standing life plan suddenly in question, the introverted Hadley stumbles through the streets of Los Angeles, until a one-night stand with singer Bogart (Fairuza Balk) lands him on an unexpected pilgrimage to Humboldt County, the marijuana capital of the West Coast. Release date: September 26, 2008 (USA)
  4. Most of these are sour diesel, the shirt bushy ones are platinum cookies, and one sunset sherbert. I also have a couple double sour × king tut og crosses I did myself. No deps this year, just doing 25 full terms as is mendocino law. But those are 6×6 wood boxes 2 feet deep going into the ground. Looking for maximum yield this year! Ran into a few issues early on, we had a cloudy may and june, had some flowering issues, but hit them with lots of guano, cal mag and superthrive, seemed to do the trick! Everything is starting to stretch out finally, with tons of nodes, I think they will turn out well, they still have another month or so of veg. Let me know what you think!
  5. What's up guys? I've been carrying this strain Hunter tin in my pocket for about a year now, and it finally ocurred to me to look into it. I had no idea these adventures were filmed, fantastic. Anywho, I've been growing out here in California in the redwoods for a few years now, light dep and full terms. It's good to see an international group of growers and enthusiasts, i can't wait to hear some new techniques.

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
