Hello and Welcome to my First blog...... Thanks for stopping by, I'm EastCoastCannaCure(Ryan), am in my early 30's and have been learning from growing for 12 years at this point. Basically I'm 12years inexperienced as we are just learning so much about cannabis at a mind blowing rate these days, and the leaps and bounds being taken each day by notables such as Remo, and Horatio, the guys at StrainHunters and GreenHouse Seeds for some amazing genetics, that a vast part of the true "experience" and knowledge is still out there and being attained and sought after. With colleges being started and the science and techniques themselves being truly explored, and the amount of knowledge being gained, it sure is a great time to be a part of such a positive change and developing a quality and natural medicine. I have somewhat trickled over from the forums (after only one post I had been updating) as the schedule I keep and the time I currently spend with my favorite ladies seems to transfer over well with the context and delivery of a blog.. well we will see anyway. I will continue to update both of them and see which one works best. Now.. why I'm here. I maintain at this moment 3 grow tents 2 are 4 x 4 and one is 8x4. I just moved and had to start from seed, as quality clones locally were not available at the time and luckily enough the great folks at GreenHouseSeeds/StrainHunters gifted me a pack of Super Critical, The Church, and the long flowering Neville's Haze so I could share my grow experience with these strains to you.. each in its own set of lighting (I use both LED, HPS, and CFL( for mothers and clones)). I like to run side by sides and test different strains in different ways. I plan on doing a advanced nutrients vs remo nutrients side by side very soon. I have always been a loyal Advanced Nutrients user, but a friend of mine introduced me to Remo Nutrients and a side by side he was conducting... and I must say Id have to be a fool not to give Remo a try(I have not yet tried any of StrainHunters nutrients but do plan on trying them and testing results with them as well as I do like their packaged approach and would love to test its simplicity and how well it produces healthy, deficient free medicine.) I guess in this post I'll detail what I have currently in progress and where I plan to be and of course how I am getting there. Basically right now I have popped 3 Super Critical Beans and I had one Super Sensi Star + Critical bean left from a previous grow and wanted a mother from that so I popped that as well. I am growing them in a top and bottom feed 4 plant DWC-Recirculating hydroponic system, they were seedling'd under a 600w LED and then veg'd under 2 600W LEDS and 1 600W HPS in the middle, and are now in week 2 of Flower with a 1200W LED and a 600W HPS in a 8x4 tent. My next post will detail some pictures of leading up to where I'm at, and some information on my techniques and how they work for me.. I am open to suggestions as there is definitely more then one way to skin a cat, and yes some of those ways are simply proven to be more efficient or more beneficiary then others. Stay tuned.

Due to my country of origin I wasn`t elegible to enter the Outdoor Cup. I would of loved to compete with the other great growers on SH.com, may the best plant win !!! Since I grew a GH Co. product I thought I would share it. I met Franco at a convention , He replaced a pack of church seeds that I had purchased at a local store but all 5 seeds never popped, so he gave me a new pack. Tkx Franco !! I germinated one June 10th , Here she is finished in Oct.

Hey guys! I was luckey enough to grow the church. I started a few i bought in a shop... they did not pop out... Then Franco was kind enough to send me directly from GH, and what a surprise, they all developed into nice plants. I may add right now (no commercial at all) all seeds i recived from Franco did the job, even the 2 autobomb that looked like freaks in the first 2 weeks, ended up to be very nice plants, the first one i just chopped. To get back to the toppic, finally i could start to germ the seeds, No soaking or anything, only a bit of tissue and rainwater. from the second day they started to push their cap out, and all went smooth... My growroom has a basic ventillation system, so that caused the most problems, specially on the hot days (at night they had 28, 29 daytime), butthe churches seemed to take easier the difficulties than other strains next to them. Probably the heat issue caused the doctors to finish only over 12 weeks (should be 8-9 weeker), but the churches finished nicely in 9-10 weeks as they should. As I mentioned i had only basic fans for ventillation, and a humidifyer till the late flowering. We had a rainy week around the 8th week, when the humidity was very high even without using it, and i know this is due to the low ventillation, but i feel like i must tell u that the church is not completely mold resistant. I could spot a few molded buds. Nothing dangerous really, but i was surprised, and tought to share it with u not to raise the humidity to high. I got this problem with around 50-60% humidity, but only 2 small fans true. As medium i was using coco-perlite-peatmoss, 45-45-10 ratio, PH around 5.8 . Lights i used: SonTpia Plus 400W+ 100Wcfl 6000k. I started the feeding right in the nutshell with a few drops of rhyzotonic. They got into the fedium in which the coco was soaked in ph 5.7 ec 1.0 water (i used rainwater all the way ) I used Biogrow, and Fishmix + the blue powder i recived from Franco last year, so i could try them before. Later during the veg stage i recived the new powder for hybrids, and that improved the groth in the case of the churches for sure, but the Doctors were in need of K. Iusually raised the ec from 0.07 to 0.80 with the GH powder, and completed with the previously mentioned organics. As the time has come to flowering i started to add Ripen and Plagron PK, and slowly raised the ratio till the 6th week, when i stopped on N.
