not sure if there is already a thread like this but here goes anyway. recently i have created two of my own strains, i bred them for outdoor grows in the uk and they do the job nicely. i took a kc39 male and i crossed it with a frisian duck, i call this howard the duck, and also an unknown cutting that i got from a friend, i call this star69. i only have regular seeds at the moment but next year i will work on feminized seeds. so i figure anyway that i am not alone in creating my own genetics and a bunch of you have probably done the same and if you are like me you probably want to share your creation with other people so maybe we can help each other out by sharing our genetics with each other. sharing is caring

Hello and Welcome to my First blog...... Thanks for stopping by, I'm EastCoastCannaCure(Ryan), am in my early 30's and have been learning from growing for 12 years at this point. Basically I'm 12years inexperienced as we are just learning so much about cannabis at a mind blowing rate these days, and the leaps and bounds being taken each day by notables such as Remo, and Horatio, the guys at StrainHunters and GreenHouse Seeds for some amazing genetics, that a vast part of the true "experience" and knowledge is still out there and being attained and sought after. With colleges being started and the science and techniques themselves being truly explored, and the amount of knowledge being gained, it sure is a great time to be a part of such a positive change and developing a quality and natural medicine. I have somewhat trickled over from the forums (after only one post I had been updating) as the schedule I keep and the time I currently spend with my favorite ladies seems to transfer over well with the context and delivery of a blog.. well we will see anyway. I will continue to update both of them and see which one works best. Now.. why I'm here. I maintain at this moment 3 grow tents 2 are 4 x 4 and one is 8x4. I just moved and had to start from seed, as quality clones locally were not available at the time and luckily enough the great folks at GreenHouseSeeds/StrainHunters gifted me a pack of Super Critical, The Church, and the long flowering Neville's Haze so I could share my grow experience with these strains to you.. each in its own set of lighting (I use both LED, HPS, and CFL( for mothers and clones)). I like to run side by sides and test different strains in different ways. I plan on doing a advanced nutrients vs remo nutrients side by side very soon. I have always been a loyal Advanced Nutrients user, but a friend of mine introduced me to Remo Nutrients and a side by side he was conducting... and I must say Id have to be a fool not to give Remo a try(I have not yet tried any of StrainHunters nutrients but do plan on trying them and testing results with them as well as I do like their packaged approach and would love to test its simplicity and how well it produces healthy, deficient free medicine.) I guess in this post I'll detail what I have currently in progress and where I plan to be and of course how I am getting there. Basically right now I have popped 3 Super Critical Beans and I had one Super Sensi Star + Critical bean left from a previous grow and wanted a mother from that so I popped that as well. I am growing them in a top and bottom feed 4 plant DWC-Recirculating hydroponic system, they were seedling'd under a 600w LED and then veg'd under 2 600W LEDS and 1 600W HPS in the middle, and are now in week 2 of Flower with a 1200W LED and a 600W HPS in a 8x4 tent. My next post will detail some pictures of leading up to where I'm at, and some information on my techniques and how they work for me.. I am open to suggestions as there is definitely more then one way to skin a cat, and yes some of those ways are simply proven to be more efficient or more beneficiary then others. Stay tuned.

Hello everyone! Its been a while that i was around on the forums but back again to share my breeding project. I have 10 seeds Manga Rosa (Reg) and 10 seeds Colombian Gold (Reg) and 2 seeds of The Church (Fem) going on. Got the Manga Rosa and Colombian Gold from a Brazilian friend. Hoping they will germ all..... The plan is too keep the Manga Rosa and Colombian Gold clean to keep the strains. Then i want to try to cross both with The Church to see what happens. Its my first breeding project so fingers crossed. Pics and more will be posted later on. Peace!

Here's my grow with the doctor. Vegged for 38 days / Flowered for 67 days using 8L coco buckets - run to waste (400w HPS) topped once during late veg. Smelt like skunky durians late flower. Heavy feeder took everything I threw at it (up to 1750 PPM @ peak) Yielded: 3.8 oz dry (trimmed buds) off one plant. Amazingly potent smoke. Easy to grow. A winner!

Hello all, this is my first time writing something here in Strain Hunters! I wanted to share here the journal of my five Barney's Pineapple Express feminized auto and three Royal Queen's Amnesia Haze feminized autos. I have put them in water 5 days ago, now most have sprouted. Still waiting for three. I have some experience in growing but mostly indoors. This time I want to use the sun. I have chosen autos because I am looking for a quick harvest, hopefully the PinEx will be ready in 65 days and the AmHaze in 80. They are in pots that range from 5-11 liters, I want to do an experience with the different sizes to see if the ones in smaller ones actually get ready quicker. I will also try to top some so I can get 2 or 4 tops. Some I will leave as a single cola so it goes faster too and as an experiment. Any advices here would be welcome. Anyway I will wait for the third knot to do any topping, something I once heard and suppose is good to the plant. I am also sharing so I can get tips and hear what you guys have to say. Hopefully they will become beautiful plants! Thank you all, peace and toke on! A music to wish a good vibes to my plants:

Well im just asking about my TDs. They are about 4 and a half week old and they are doing pretty good. Im wondering 2 things : Should i start useing my BioBloom now? I havent been using any grow stimulates exept root grow. Does it affect the taste and does it make a big difference? And Secondly if you look at the plants bottom they are pretty naked trimmed. My m8 trimmed them down and im not sure was it good. What you think? Im growing in a small closet with 250w hps and a 15w led is coming tomorrow to give them some red and blue spectrum. They are growing ina special soil/vermiculite mix and the ph has been steady 6.4 the whole grow. The temperatures have been a bit high 25-26 C but they are still growin pretty good in my perspective. Im a Virgin grower so any advice and comments will be appreciated. just dont be 2 harsh. And if some1 can give me any picture about the yield i might get i would be very thankful. i kinda need to know how much i get so i can plan the The Festival Season properly
