Hey all , sometimes i make homemade 100% organic nutrients for my plants , and they love it . Here we can share to each other our recieps for nutrinents and remedies for our lovely plants . For vegetation i make nettles tea . you have to harvest one big black garbage bag with nettles and put it in big bin with water . You have to wait around one - two months to fermentate , also you have to stir it once in a week or more . when its ready you can use it 1 part nettles tea and 1 part watter for younger plants and only nettles tea for older ones

1-2-2I just got some fertilizer ( two different kinds actually) from my local hydroponic store. One is for growth. The other is specifically for blooming. I mixed up a batch for the growth (as they are water soluble types) and applied it yesterday, when should I put the bloom on? I don't want to burn the plant. The growth fertilizer numbers are 3-0-8, and the bloom fertilizer numbers are 1-2-2. Any help with a schedule of some sort would be great.

Hi, I'm always trying new things and I have had the best success with using microbes with my grow. I've used all the well known brands but I heard about a new one called Soil Balance Pro which sounds kind of amazing. Has anyone used them before and if so can you share with me your experiences? I'm eagerly awaiting my shipment and would love to here from others before I begin. Thanks -nate-

It is a pleasure and an honor to have been chosen to participate in this Test/Contest. I wish to thank Green House Seed Company and Strain Hunters for their excellent product development in the years past and I thank the Forum Members who have helped to bring this test into existence. I also thank the Forum Members who are participating as contestants in this competition. As explained to Jose, I could not start the Germination of my seeds until a business trip was behind me. As promised, I did begin the Germination on 07 Nov 2015. Pictures will be posted below. But first, here is my plan as originally described to Jose: "OK Jose, I am definitely up for this one. Germination shall be between layers of paper towels using distilled water. Vegg (first 10cm) shall be under fluorescent tubes (Cool White and Grow Spectrum) in 10 x 10cm Rockwool cube, using a timed drip-feeding System and nutrients from Hydroponics - "Root Stimulator" and "1-Grow". Vegg (after 10cm height) under same lights, the Rockwool cube installed into a large plastic planter of clay Ton-balls with a bottom layer of volcanic rock, using timed drip-feeding System and nutrients from Advanced Hydroponics - "1-Grow", "2-Bloom", "3-Micro" and "Enzymes+". I plan to perform LST similar to my first White Widow grow, so you may see some nice fat round ladies on my thread. Hehehe... Flowering shall be under two 270-Watt multi-spectrum LED lamps plus two 36-Watt and two 18-Watt fluorescent tubes Cool White. Each Assemblage (large pot containing the Rockwool/Ton-ball/Volcanic-rock) will be inserted AS-IS into an Ebb-N-Flow tub filled with larger Ton-balls, using timed Ebb-N-Flow System and nutrients from Advanced Hydroponics - "1-Grow", "2-Bloom", "3-Micro", "Enzymes+" and "Growth/Bloom Excellerator". Finishing nutrient shall be "Final Solution" from Advanced Hydroponics. Optional finishing lighting may include a 36-Watt UVB 2.0 fluorescent tube along with the dual 270-Watt multi-spectrum LEDs. I would like to test the xxxxx Kush. (Would that perhaps be the Kaia Kush?) By the way, are these test seeds going to be feminized, or must we each be prepared to perform sexing procedures as well? Thanks" Obviously, the answers were supplied to us: All the test seeds are feminized, and xxxxx Kush has been re-named as Green House Kush. I decided to test additionally the Kaia Kush side-by-side with the Green House Kush. I received my seeds from Green House Seed Company. Lo and Behold! Green House included a present - one kilogram of Short-Flowering Powder Feeding. Because I had originally designed both my Vegg Set-up and my Flowering Set-up to be "dual-Nutrient-capable", I figured that this was an opportunity to put that capability to good use. I hereby modify my Grow-Plan to include a comparison of Powder Feeding against Advanced Hydroponics. My Test shall be a four-way comparison: Green House Kush with Advanced Hydroponics Green House Kush with Short-Flowering Powder Feeding Kaia Kush with Advanced Hydroponics Kaia Kush with Short-Flowering Powder Feeding So, I begin with some Pictures of the seeds as received from Green House. Included in the photos are also the nutrients from Advanced Hydroponics and a photo of the Kaia Kush seeds. Gotta go to work, so stay tuned to my next Posts.

Hello everybody, This is my first grow, I am using a 1.2x1.2x2m grow tent, 5 inch fan and a 600W HPS Bulb from seedling to harvest on Super Lemon haze Auto and Sweet Mango Auto (Both from GreenHouseSeeds). Considering I have no experience at all, I am concerned about the nutrients that I shall add and since when, I am pretty excited and I don't want to mess it up, so any advices would be really appreciated! I am going to use a Janeco Light Mix with a Ph of 6, I am thinking to add a little more perlite to it. So far that was the best option I could find locally. Those being said, I would really appreciate any kind of advice for a newebie. Cheers!

Hello to the great GH community! I will make this quick and to the point for you. Been around this industry now for roughly 26 years. Have tried many many applications with varied results. Desert Grows using Palm Leaves as shading and bones, scorpions and local cactus for nutrient teas with sand medium to Indoor fully controlled environments. I dig them all! I currently have an unknown landrace Sativa that i discovered up in the Sierra Madre Mountains of Sonora / Sinaloa Mexico. I have been growing her for almost 3 years now with 20 grows. This is my 21st session with her at the moment which started with organic soil from Guadalajara Mexico and transitioned into an indoor Ebb n' Flo controlled environment with major training. FIM, Topped, Scrog, Super crop, de-scrog, tied and under canopy lighting. Will post more on a journal for all to enjoy, critique, comment or just learn from. I also have an account on GrassCity Forums (MultiTech) should anyone feel the urge to read up on my outing there as well. I am very excited to be a part of this great community and will be looking forward to others, nubez to tradesman, grows, techniques, questions and commentary. Saludos a Todos! -MultiTech

High all! Very happy to join this forum. I read through a lot of posts before subscribing and found this place full of amazing and knowledgeable people. Regarding myself, I'm involved in different parts of the field. My daily business involves cannabis-specific nutrients, solventless extractions, delivery methods and a big focus on the pure R&D medical side of the industry. It so turns out that I am increasingly niching in the genetics and breeders world and am educating myself and meeting people that have been at it for much longer than I, some true old schoolers. Well I grew my first plant about 20 years ago but that's a different story. My first lesson was that breeders and growers simply don't speak the same language, and I've learned that the fishermen claims their catch is always a pound heavier and a foot longer until it's measured and weighted on a scale. It's nice when I'm lucky enough to meet those truthful people that under-promise and over-deliver! Looking forward to all our interactions. ALG.

I`m interested in comparing nutrient companies. I`m doing a test myself this year with my preferred choice PureBlend Pro and the GH organics line and also a synthetic blend that we have made and call TD . I`m exited to see the end results. So far the GH`s are behind the PBP by few inches and I find that the stem on my PureBlend batch are much more hardy. The GH ones are lil tender. The TD is keeping up with the PBP, but isn`t organic. I`m all about organics. Jug of tea anyone? ! hahah Share your nutrient favorites and tell us why. P.S. has any one who doesn`t work directly for GHS, tested the new one part feed for indica or sativa ???
