M.O.B aka Mother of all Berries

Hi hunters,

Here are some news & pics of my current grow. The strain I selected is the M.O.B from TH seeds!

M.O.B aka  "Mother of  Berries"

The plant is an East coast Legend- brought to Amsterdam by our Boston friend.  It’s an incredibly fast, short and fat plant.  It looks different then what you are used to-  some purple and crazy pink color and it’s full of terpenes.

This 100% Indica gives a very unique flavor, like nothing you’ve ever smelled or tasted before. The first time we smoked it in Amsterdam we had great time but kept forgetting our keys so we named it “stupid bud”-  be warned- The MOB® is strong medicine! The first entry ever by MOB® was at the prestigious Expo grow Cannabis Cup in Irun 2015 -  it won 2nd Place in Indica category - much more to come.

INDICA

Height 60-110cm

Yield 450-550 p.s.m

Flowering time 42-55

(text  on top and pic below is from thseeds website)

All seeds germinate out the soil at the 5 decembre.

Grow + 28.

A full 4 week of grow. And today is the day for a little LST to be sure that the plants widen a maximum before going into flowering in 3 - 4 weeks.

Here are the pics of  the day!

Nice plants, just a little tip when using LST method, first start

by tying a bottom support around the stem opposite to the

direction your top is going to be pulled this helps stop the plant

from being uprooted when bending the stem.

Once again plants lovely colour and healthy.

PEACE

Hi @OG.Naj,  Nice pics in your 'Zombie' gallery, and nice plants here.

Your way of LSTing is different from mine in that it seems you bend them over (with bare wire) supercropping style but don't do the squeezing of the stalk bit (as in supercropping)?

Good luck!

Hello Shaggy !

Yes this time i test this slow way of training without squeeze but whit the cut of the apex (after 4 internodes) . We will see what's append whit this way

On the zombie i cut the apex every internodes to make 16 top and use lst technique just on flowering.

I hope to have answered :-)

Hi hunters!

Today is a testing cloning day :pleasantry:

On 5 MOB seeds , i selected 4 plants at the early stage of grow, after 2 weeks.

And today on the 4 plants i selected the 2 more vigorous to keep 1 mother of them. The mother I am going to keep will be selected at the end of flowering as you can understand...

For this selection I test for the first time the cloning with, and only with, the ehancer from GH!

Here are the differents steps I followed and the material needed.

Material

Small Greenhouse

Ph meter and acid -

Ehancer

RootRiot cube

Blade

The STEP i follow :

1) Ajust the water PH at 5.5 before a put the ehancer in it (like GH team explain)

2) Add the GH Ehancer at 0,3gr/litre (as you can see the PH level drop at 6,6 after that)

3) Soak the cubes in the solution

DSC06960.thumb.JPG.2dccd85071ad6d5c236bc1731a612592.JPG

4) Wring slightly the cube to put out the excess watering content

DSC06961.thumb.JPG.3ee3deff9bd7360c44e12b37f1c1564f.JPG

5) Put the cutting in the cube

6) Spray the cuttings with the same solution

DSC06963.thumb.JPG.070fec925891ef0c527271750b18387f.JPG

7) Spray inside the greenhouse with water & put the cuttings in the small greenhouse

DSC06965.thumb.JPG.8ab03d7ee249d15380f637b5b243b4c5.JPG

Now is time to wait and see what happens with this technique of clonning without rooting hormones. Normaly I use the "remo clonning gel" with great results.

I'm interested to see the results of this cloning test, @OG.Naj

I've never cloned myself, but if @THELOCKYONE does not gain entry into this contest (and it looks like his request has not been actioned or there's delivery issue) I'll be giving him a few clones from my White Rhino toppings down the line.

Photo's look great.  Good luck!

Hello hunters

Hope you are all good and that you have a beautifull productive week-end as mine

WEEK 3 of flowering for this beautifull ladies

The M.O.B   take all the space of the box and decrease the growth to focus on the floral production. That's a good think :good: It's a good thing although I would have liked it to be a little bigger. Not that serious...

I had a wonderful surprise when I noticed a purple pheno. I love "purple bud"  like Purple # 1, Frisian drew for outdoor grow or the wonderfull Zombie Kush for some pheno. In addition to adding a visual beauty, I find that it always has a special taste compared to the green bud.

Purple pheno

5a815d1822709_Purplepheno.thumb.JPG.7cb09db2a1a91e8676e57c87b2f03d95.JPG

So at the begining of flowering I love defoliate to have a better air circulation, especially for the indicas which are always more bushy, but also to have a better light penetration for the lower buds.

The watering strategy at this  stage is 1 watering with only water ph adjusted at 6,3 and 2 watering with bloom nuts at 1,6ec and PH6,3

Here are the group shot of today

After defoliate

So see you next monday for the next uptade!

Have a nice week guy's

Zoom on the purple pheno

DSC07476.thumb.JPG.8f2a22fa4a5047a92a3acf783b301770.JPG

Sorry for the color quality but the camera use correction for HPS ligth and we cant good see the beautifull purple colors... But this pheno is just incredible, the purple color come directly from the trichomes. I see that when i look the bud with a small microscope. Shame that i cant take a picture with the microscope...

See you next monday for the week 5 update!

So this week I decrease the temperature from 27 to 26-25 °c. I try to continue the decrease of the temp. to 22°c to the end of flowering. I make this to have more flavor and beautifull color at the end of the flowering, maybe some purple things come :good:

See you next monday for the week 6 update and the beginning of the flush!
