LED Grow Light with Multiple LED Drivers?

Recommended Posts

I am building a custom grow light with wavelength (nm) specific and temperature (K) specific LED lights.

Some cobs are 40w, another 120w, another 700w.

1 cob, for example, is 7800ma (34-36v), another 1200ma(30-32v), another 3400ma(34-36v).

How do I wire up multiple drivers to power the light as one unit?

For example is it simply all drivers in parallel -   powerIn--+Driver--+Driver--+Driver--+Driver--powerOut

with each driver running it's given lights in parallel? i.e. --/+Driver--+Light--+Light--/+Driver--

Sorry for the poor analogy I am not an electrician or physicist.

Yes RedBarn, but you can use same driver with same leds that have similar current and can be with different voltages, but final voltage doesn't have to be higher than driver Vmax out. Hope you get this lamp done
