I have already had a smoke of the Sweet Mango and it is nice tastes earthy sometimes a slight fruity taste too. It has a nice vibe I like this strain I will definitely grow it again thats for sure. gasmeter Posted June 10, 2019 Author Share Posted June 10, 2019 All the bud from the last of the 4 Sweet Mangos were nice and dry today. So this afternoon I cut all of the Sweet Mango bud off the stalks, so now the only stalk is within the bud. I dont see any point in leaving any stalk or the bud on a bit of stalk, I only smoke the bud not the wood. Here are some images I took. Sweet Mango dry buds on stalks. Sweet Mango dry on top cola. Heap of Sweet Mango buds cut off the stalks. Sweet Mango buds on the scales. Sweet Mango buds in Kilner jar. The yield from the tallest of the Sweet Mango plants was 30.9 grams of bud. So the total yield from all 4 Sweet Mango plants is 80.4 grams The Sweet Mango is a nice strain and a nice smoke with a great vibe. gasmeter Posted June 11, 2019 Author Share Posted June 11, 2019 Hi @g22 thanks Yes those buds fattened up nicely with the Plant Magic organic range of nutrients and additives that organic PK 4-8 really help fatten the bud the plants love it. Yea man the vibe is sweet no difference between photoperiod and autoflower, the Passion #1 I did outside last year were photoperiod girls and compared with the autos I was running inside the bud from both was just a potent, the Cannabinoids in the trichomes/resin are the same whether the plant is an auto or photoperiod they mek the same substances same way there is no difference. As you know the vibe depends on the state of the trichomes when you harvest, this applies to photoperiod and auto plants just the same. I FIMed all of the Sweet Mangos and as you can see mileage varies but it does break the apical tendency and the plant shares the love with all its stalks even when they go off like a rocket and start to flower straight after you FIM, the down side is that the plant ends up smaller, I need to do a run and let them go without manipulating the plants to compare. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
