Anybody growing Aceh/Atjeh?

3 posts in this topic

Hello! I recently started to grow cannabis, and after I saw people are talking so positively about the Aceh sativa landrace and since it is very rare, I decided this is a strain I want to cultivate, enjoy and also keep alive for the future. Unfortunately, it is imposible to find in Europe. No seedbank sells this particular variety and people most ofen grow commercially popular strains so I have nowhere left to turn.  Does anybody here happen to have any seeds from this particular Aceh sort? Or if there's anybody here who lived or currently lives in Indonesia do you have any seeds from local varieties? If so, please let me know!

Hello Ulysses9 and welcome to forum :)

I don't have information on where to find that variety in Europe, maybe other forum users can give us some useful information.

Cheers and good luck!

I read some posts from people who where growing or had knowledge of it. One even said he's willing to share seeds, but none of them has been online here for a pretty long time already. I hope somebody can help though.

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
