Just updated this post to put more space between the powder feed images so they are properly left aligned when viewing the forum using the Strain Hunters theme, but this means if your viewing the forum like me under the Default theme there is a shit load of white space between the images and it looks awful, the white space is provided by empty paragraph tags <p></p>

Unfortunately if I remove some of the empty paragraphs spacing the images so the images left align in a tidy manner without excessive white space between them, under the Strain Hunters theme the first image will be left aligned, but the following images will be out of alignment and it will look proper shit.

So because most people browse under the Strain Hunters theme so I will leave the spacing as it is, at least under the Default theme the images and text align as I intended it just looks stupid with the excessive spacing below each image which is down to the difference in the CSS formatting in each theme.

This grow was supposed to be 4 Jack Herer plants, but I had some problems germinating the beans you can read about what happened using the link below to a thread I started in the Weed Infirmary.

Out of a pack of 10 Jack Herer beans I only managed to germinate 3 beans, so I then germinated a Passion #1 bean so I have 4 plants to fill my little grow tent and all the plants are relatively the same age.

All 4 seedlings are doing great and growing nicely under a fluorescent tube on an 18/6 photoperiod at the moment until I harvest the 4 Sweet Valley Kush plants in a few days that currently occupy the grow tent.

At the weekend I will put the last Jack Herer and the Passion #1 seedlings into little plastic pots in some dirt and repot the other 2 seedlings into larger plastic pots I can see some roots poking out the bottoms of the pots so they need up potting.

As I mentioned in my last update the 2 Jack Herer seedlings in the little plastic plant pots have roots poking out of the holes in the bottom of the plant pots so yesterday I repotted them both into larger plastic pots.

Then I potted the last Jack Herer seedling and the Passion #1 seedlings into the little plastic plant pots that the older seedlings had been living in.

I gave the 2 older Jack Herer seedlings about 100ml of mild feed solution and the Jack Herer and Passion #1 seedlings about 50ml of water and then I put them back under the fluorescent tube for the rest of the day.

Here are some images that I took during the re-potting process.

All of the seedlings before I re-potted them.

Fortunately I can tell which is the Passion #1 seedling the leaves are narrower and Sativa like compared with the Jack Herer which are wider and Indica like.

As soon as I start to cut and harvest the 4 Sweet Valley Kush plants I can move the seedlings into the grow tent and get them under the LED which they will enjoy after the fluorescent tube.

Time for a quick mid week update on the 3 Jack Herer and 1 Passion #1 plants.

The dirt in their plant pots was nice and dry this morning so I gave the two seedlings about 100ml of water each and then I gave the two larger plants about 200ml of water each.

Here are some images I took earlier.

All 4 plants in the grow tent under the LED.

The temperature in the tent is 26C to 29C in the day and down to 20C to 18C at night, the humidity is around 50% during the day and about 60% at night.

The Jack Herer and Passion #1 seedlings are both about 4cm tall and now growing the 3rd node from the first true leaves.

The two bigger Jack Herer plants are 6cm and 5cm tall and both are now growing their 5th nodes from the first true leaves.

I have put some water in an old icecream tub which I have placed in the grow tent to hopefully increase the humidity within the grow tent during the veg phase.

@OG.Naj thanks for the heads up bro I will keep an eye on that :good:

There were 2 metal clips for use with different sizes of grow tent poles, I used the smaller or narrower metal clip which I had to put on the plastic bit a few times to get a good tight fit so it works properly and grips the tent pole when it is loaded with the weight of the fan and bracket.

And when you need to move it the metal clip stays in place and does not fall off and relaxes its grip as you take the weight of the fan as you move it.

I thought that I would have to get a pair of pliers and tweak the metal clip, but after I fitted it to the bracket and took it off a few times it fitted together nice and tight.

The Jack Herer and Passion #1 plants are all green and healthy and growing well.

The dirt in their plastic plant pots was nice and dry this morning so I gave the 2 larger plants 200ml of feed solution and the 2 smaller plants got 100ml of the feed solution.

There was a little bit of run off from the bottom of all the little plastic plant pots, after watering and feeding the plants I put them back into the grow tent under the LED.

Here are some images I took before I fed and water the plants.

All of the plants in the grow tent under the LED.

The 2 larger plants are 6cm and 7cm tall and the smaller Jack Herer and the Passion #1 plants are 5cm tall.

The temperature in the day in the tent is between 26C to 29C and during the night the temperature is around 18C.

The maximum temperature during the week was 33.1C the minimum temperature was 18.1C and the maximum humidity in the grow tent was 39% and the minimum humidity was 32%.

I had my little dehumidifier running outside the tent to help dry the Sweet Valley Kush buds hanging on the stalk, the other day I noticed the leafy aspect to the aroma in the room has gone and it just smells like herb now.

The buds feel nice and hard and they are drying nicely so I have switched off the dehumidifier so they can continue drying slowly, so I should be able to control the humidity in the grow tent better now and raise it up a bit.

This morning the dirt in all of the plastic pots was nice and dry and they felt light.

So I gave the 2 larger Jack Herer plants 200ml of water each and the smaller Jack Herer and Passion #1 plants 100ml of water each and there was just a tiny bit of run off, so the roots are filling the dirt in the pots.

They should be ready for a drink of water and some feed in 3 days by Thursday, they seem to be really enjoying the LED the growth with all of them is great they are pushing forwards, the 2 larger plants will be ready to top soon.

Happy growing... :pleasantry:

All of the plants are growing well under the LED in the tent.

This morning the dirt in their plastic pots was dry and they all felt nice and light so I gave the 2 bigger Jack Herer plants 250ml of feed solution that contains 0.5g per litre of grow powder feed and 2ml per litre of root stimulant.

And the smaller Jack Herer and Passion #1 got 150ml of the feed solution each, there was a bit of run off from all of the plant pots which I have left in the plastic saucer to help increase and maintain the humidity level.

The two larger Jack Herer plants are now 10cm tall (8 nodes) and 9cm tall (7 nodes), and the smaller Jack Herer is 8cm and the Passion #1 is 7cm tall and they are both at 6 nodes and growing.

Here are some images I took yesterday.

Happy growth friend @gasmeter but it bothers you I quote a text from Jack Herer:

Hemp has been cultivated in Spain since time immemorial. Greeks, Romans, Germans, Celts, Arabs, ... all of them have left traces of their passage through our bull's skin. All of them have cultivated hemp and appreciated its qualities, both textile and in its recreational-medicinal and nutritional aspects. "If, in order to save the planet and to curb the greenhouse effect, all fossil fuels and their derivatives were banned, as well as the felling of trees for agriculture or papermaking, there would be only one renewable natural source left annually with capacity to provide us with most of the paper, fabric and food we consume; a single source of these characteristics that could also be adapted to the domestic, transport and industrial energy needs that are imposed in our world, in addition to enabling it time, a decrease in the levels of pollution, the regeneration of the terrestrial substrate, and an integral sanitation of the atmosphere.A natural resource that would be neither more nor less the same universal natural source of all time: the CÁÑAMO, CANNABIS or, said otherwise, MARIHUANA. " By Jack Herer

Merry Christmas and a happy new year 2020 friend 🎉

inner luv for the kind words @R.G.S @g22 and @OG.Naj

I have grown the Jack Herer auto a couple of times and it is nice strain the bud was potent the aroma is earthy with a sort of perfume thing going on.

Yes all the plants look nice and healthy and the larger 2 are nice and compact the two smaller plants have new growth at all the nodes they seemed the enjoy the last feed.

The plants are all growing well, this morning the dirt in their plastic pots was dry and they felt nice and light so they were ready for a drink, I had noticed the tips of some fan leaves were pointing downwards, so I gave the smaller Jack Herer and Passion #1 plants 300ml of water to flush the dirt in their pots.

Then I gave the 2 larger Jack Herer plants 400ml of water to flush the dirt in their pots just to be on the safe side, there was plenty of run off from all of the plants and the run off was colourless nice and clear, although this does not mean much because the mineral powder feeding does not colour the water.

But that said the Plant Magic root stimulant does make the water a light brown colour, so the fact the run off was pretty clear hopefully means there is no nutrient build up in the soil, none of the fan leaf tips on the Jack Herer are burned so hopefully everything is OK with them, but there are a few on the Passion #1, so I just need to keep an eye on that as they forward.

Here are some images I took yesterday afternoon.

Hopefully the dirt in their plastic pots will dry out in the next 3 days and they will be ready for a feed by Wednesday, plus the two smaller plants will need repotting into the same size pots and the 2 larger plants.

Over the last week the maximum temperature in the tent was 30.4C the minimum temperature was 18.9C the maximum humidity was 60% and the minimum humidity was 33%

The temperature during the day is between 26C to 30C averaging around 28C and the night time temperature is about 18C the day time humidity is around 40 to 50% and the nigh time humidity is over 50% but this depends on how dry the soil in the plant pots is and how hard the plants are transpiring.

The tallest Jack Here is now 11cm tall and 9 nodes high the second tallest Jack Herer is now 10cm tall and 8 nodes high the small Jack Herer is now 9cm tall and 6 nodes the Passion #1 is 8cm tall and 6 nodes.

The 2 tallest plants are almost ready to top I will wait until they have 10 nodes and top at the 8th node this way there is going to be a bit of stalk between nodes and I can cut so I have a little bit of stalk left behind to avoid weakening the site where the plant is topped.

The tallest has 9 nodes so I could top her now and just cut the top node off, but new growth site is so tiny and the nodes are so tightly spaced it would be difficult to make a decent cut and leave enough stalk behind.

So I wil play it safe and let it grow another couple of nodes before I do the deed and top her.

Sorry for cocking up the height measurements in previous posts I am a bumboclatt as I was looking at the tape measure I am thinking in tens of millimetres with the plants being so small, but when I wrote it down I wrote it as centimetres so 70mm became 70cm instead of 7cm, I instinctually think in feet and inches.

I have edited all previous post and fixed the height values to the real values in centimetres.

More updates soon, happy growing...  :pleasantry:

Time for a quick progress update on the Jack Herer and Passion #1 plants.

This morning the dirt in the plastic pots of all the plants was dry and they all felt nice and light.

So after lunch I mixed 3ml per litre of Plant Magic root stimulant and 0.5g per litre of GHS powder grow feed I made up 2 litres of the feed solution.

Then I put some dirt into a bucket along with two plastic pots the same size the larger Jack Herer plants are in, then I repotted the small Jack Herer and the Passion #1 plants into the larger plastic pots.

Now all 4 plants are in the same size plastic plant pots, I then gave the small Jack Herer and the Passion #1 plants 300ml of the feed solution there was a bit of run off from both of the pots.

Then I gave the 2 larger Jack Herer 400ml of the feed solution each again there was a bit of run off from both pots, then I put all 4 of the plants back into the grow tent under the LED.

Here are some images I took as I repotted the plants.

I will repot the 2 larger Jack Herer plants into the 12 litre root pouches at the end of the week, they should also be ready to be topped by then as well.

The smaller Jack Herer and the Passion #1 plant I will keep in their new plastic pots until they conquer them before I put them into root pouches and by then they should also be ready to be topped.

I hope everyone has a happy new year in 2020  :pleasantry:
