Time for a weekly update on the 4 Cheese plants at the end of week 2 of flowering.

All the Cheese plants are still growing and stretching at the moment creating lots of new nodes and foliage.

I can see pistles now at lots of nodes on the main stalk and the nodes on the stalks coming off the main stalk and what look like the beginings of flowers in the growth at the end of the stalks.

The Green House Cheese plants are now 44cm and 49cm tall and the Exodus Cheese plants are now 45cm and 53cm tall.

On Thursday morning when I checked on the plants the humidity was 95% so I put my little dehumidifier into the tent and set it to maintain the humidity around 45%

The dirt in their root pouches was dry this morning and they all felt light so I mixed 3ml per litre root stimulant and 0.3g per litre of the grow powder feed and I made up 6 litres of the feed solution in three 2 litre lemonade bottles.

Then I gave each plant a litre and a half of the feed solution and then put them all back into the grow tent under the LED.

Here are some images I took of the plants just before I fed and watered them.

When I fed and watered the plants the dirt quickly absorbs the feed solution and there was no run off, as soon as the dirt dries out I will give them all 2 litres of water, then on the next feed I will give them some of the hybrid bloom feed.

I gave the two Passion #1 plants a feed of the Plant magic Old Timer grow feed and some root stimulant today at the moment the weather is pretty good and it is warm and sunny and they seem to be enjoying being outside soaking up the rays.

Also when I checked on the 2 Cloud Walker beans this morning they have both cracked their shell casings and their tap roots are poking out I will let the tap roots get a bit longer and then I will put them into Root It plugs and get them under the fluorescent tube in the little cupboard.

Once I have them in the root plugs in the next couple of days I will get a new journal started in the testing section.

More updates to follow, happy growing... :pleasantry:

@R.G.S and @OG.Naj inner luv for the kind words and encouragement it means a lot coming from 2 very experienced growers :D

Yes I agree the Exodus Cheese and Green House Cheese are definitely extraordinary strains, since my update on Saturday you can now see that the plants are definitely in flower.

I am rubbish at describing the smell but at the moment to me it smells like vines, earthy and herby, but this will no doubt develop over the next few weeks.

The dirt in the root pouches is drying nicely but they are not quite light enough so I will leave them until tomorrow then give them a drink.

The Passion #1 sisters outside are enjoying the sunshine and one of the Cloud Walkers under the fluorescent tube has grown above the surface of the Root It sponge and is now earth strong, the other one is still below the surface of the sponge but quietly making its way upwards.

Happy growing... :pleasantry:

This morning the dirt in the root pouches was dry and they all felt nice and light.

So I gave each of the Cheese plants 2ltrs of water and there was a small amount of run off from each root pouch.

Then I placed them all back in the grow tent under the LED to soak up the rays.

When the dirt in their root pouches dries out again in a few days I will give them a feed of the hybrids bloom feed.

Happy growing... :pleasantry:

Time for a weekly update on the 4 Cheese plants at the end of week 3 of flowering.

All of the plants are doing great and making lots of buds.

The Green House Cheese plants are 61cm and 60cm tall and the Exodus Cheese plants are 72cm and 55cm tall.

Yesterday the dirt in their root pouches was dry and they all felt nice and light.

So I mixed 0.4g per litre of hybrids powder feed and made up 8ltrs of feed solution in four 2ltr lemonade bottles and then I gave each of the plants 2ltrs of the feed solution and then I put them back in the tent under the LED.

@OG.Naj hopefully this first hybrids bloom feed will help things along.

Yes they are nice and green and healthy despite me being a bumboclatt :punish:over feeding them, I am well pleased with them.

Over the past few days when I got into the room where the tent is I have noticed the aroma has a slight sour aspect to it now, it will be interesting to see how the aroma changes during flowering as they mature.

Time for a weekly update on the 4 Cheese plants at the end of week 4 of flowering.

All of the plants are doing great and making lots of bud.

The Green House Cheese plants are 65cm and 69cm tall and the Exodus Cheese plants are 77cm and 60cm tall.

Yesterday the dirt in their root pouches was dry and 3 felt nice and light and one felt like it could do with another day.

I mixed 0.6g per ltr hybrids powder feed and 0.4g per ltr of booster I mixed 8 litres of the feed solution in four 2 litre lemonade bottles where the water had been waiting since I last watered the plants on Tuesday.

I decided to feed and water all 4 of the Cheese plants so I gave them all 2ltrs of the feed solution each and then I put them back into the grow tent under the LED to carry on soaking up the rays.

Here are some images of the plants I took earlier this afternoon.

Early yesterday evening when I checked on the Cheese plants I noticed some discolouration on the older fan leaves of the smaller Exodus Cheese plant which felt like it needed another day for the dirt to get properly dry.

I was thinking maybe I over fed them and this one is a bit sensitive, so I passed 2 litres of water through the root pouch and gave it a bit of a flush the run off was a brown colour then I put her back into the tent.

This morning at 06.30am when I woke up I checked then fan leaves and they do not look much worse than they did yesterday.

Here are a couple of images of affected fan leaves.

13june-2020-exc-fan-leaf-001.thumb.jpg.32951433e9e23a3fff5ee524e73514e8.jpg

On reflection I pushed it with the booster at 0.4g per litre I should have halved that amount really.

All of the other plants are OK I will just let her get nice and dry and then give her 4 litres of water to flush the dirt.

As soon the dirt dries in the root pouches of the other plants they will get 2 litres of water.

More updates to follow soon, happy growing... :pleasantry:

Time for a quick progress update on the 4 Cheese plants.

This morning the dirt in the root pouches of both the Green House Cheese and the tall Exodus Cheese was dry and they all felt nice and light, so I gave each plant just 2 litres of water then put them back into the grow tent under the LED to soak up the rays.

I will let the dirt in the small Exodus Cheese plants root pouch get nice and dry before I give her a drink and a mild feed.

I removed the 2 worst affected fan leaves from the plant and as the other affected fan leaves slowly die I will remove them too.

I am well pleased with the Cheese plants the buds are quietly getting bigger and they are well frosty with resin.

Happy growing... :pleasantry:

Time for a weekly update on the 4 Cheese plants at the end of week 5 of flowering.

All of the plants are healthy and the buds are quietly growing fatter each day.

The Green House Cheese are now 66cm and 71cm tall and the Exodus Cheese are now 59cm and 78cm tall.

This morning dirt in the root pouches of both the Green House Cheese and the tall Exodus Cheese was dry and they all felt nice and light as well, so I mixed 0.6g of hybrids powder feed and 0.4g of booster per litre of water and I mixed up 6 litres in three 2 litre lemonade bottles.

Before I watered and fed the 3 Cheese plants I took some photos of them all and then I gave the 3 Cheese plants 2 litres of the feed and booster solution each and then I put them back into the grow tent under the LED to soak up the rays.

This morning the dirt in the root pouch of the small Exodus Cheese was dry and she felt nice and light.

So I mixed 0.3g per litre of hybrids powder feed and 0.2g per litre of booster I made up 2 litres of the feed solution which I then gave to the small Exodus Cheese plant then I put her back into the tent under the LED to continue soaking up the rays.

The other 3 Cheese plants should be ready for a drink in the next couple of days.

As soon as the dirt in the root pouch of the small Exodus Cheese is dry and feels nice and light I will give her 2 litres of water.

And when the dirt in the root pouches of the Green House Cheese and the tall Exodus Cheese is dry I will feed them.

Now the Cheese plants are just a few weeks from finishing I will pop some beans for my next run indoors and get them vegging.

I am well pleased with these Cheese plants I am loving the Green House Cheese they are so vigorous and the buds look nice and dense and the trichome production is amazing they are already well coated and the bud haven't started to close up yet.

I will feed them until the buds close up and fatten then I will just give them water.

More updates to follow, happy growing... :pleasantry:

This morning when I moved the Cheese plants around the grow tent I noticed that the dirt in the root pouch of the small Exodus Cheese plant was dry and it felt nice and light.

So I gave her 2 litres of water that has been standing in a plastic lemonade bottle for a the past few days, then I put her back into the grow tent with the other Cheese plants under the LED to continue soaking up the rays.

Yesterday it was sunny and very hot in the tent the temperature fluctuated between 28C and 29C but last night I had to run the large 24 inch fan because the temperature was hitting 30C to 31C in the grow tent so I had the tent door open and the big fan running even after the LED switched off I had to run the fan until about 9pm when the temperature finally started to drop.

This morning the weather is dull and very cloudy and it is raining so it is humid and hot and the temperature in the tent is hitting 29C to 30C so I have the tent door unzipped and the big fan running agan and the temperature is now stable at 28C and humidity is around 55% at the moment.

The tall Exodus Cheese plant and the two Green House Cheese plants feel like they should be ready for a drink and a feed tomorrow they feel light but not quite light enough today.

Happy growing... :pleasantry:

Time for a weekly update on the 4 Cheese plants at the end of week 6 and start of week 7 of the flowering period.

All of the Cheese plants are healthy and the buds are quietly getting fatter.

This morning the dirt in the root pouches of the 2 Green House Cheese and the tall Exodus Cheese was dry and they all felt nice and light, so I mixed 0.5g hybrids powder feed per litre and 0.5g per litre of the booster additive and I made up 6 litres of the feed solution.

Then I gave each of the 3 plants 2 litres of the feed solution each and then I put them back into the grow tent under the LED.

Here are some images of the plants I took before I watered and fed them.

As soon as the dirt in the root pouch of the small Exodus Cheese plant is dry I will give her a feed.

Now that these Cheese plants are only a few weeks away from finishing last night I decided that it was time to start popping 4 of the Silver Back beans to get them going ready for my next indoor grow.

Time for a midweek update on the Cheese girls.

The bud on the plants is quietly getting fatter each day and on both the Exodus Cheese the buds are closed up the calynx are well fat and most of the pistles are now brown and one of the Green House cheese has pistles that are going brown and the calynx are starting to get fat, but the other needs a bit longer she still looks busy I think she may need another week.

Here are some images I took this afternoon.

The dirt in the root pouches on all of the Cheese plants is dry and they all felt light when I moved them this morning and when I moved them about taking photos of them, I could have watered them but I like to let them get really dry.

I was going to feed the small Exodus Cheese but now her buds are closed up like the tall one I will just give her water from now on.

It will be interesting to see how the Green House Cheese bud ripens compared with the Exodus Cheese bud.

Happy growing... :pleasantry:
